I think this rifle needs MOAR rails.

This is stupid though, the G3 makes alot of sense for the MEC due to them being based in an arid regions and therefore, assumably at least, they have long engagement distances most of the time. They aint the vietcong or anything, they don't need to be geared up for CQC all that well as alot of their fightings gonna end up in the desert. So long barrel + big round + PATIENCE = well suited long range weapon. Learn to deal with it.

AK models not good for MEC.I think HK series more better than G3.

i think he was referring to the guns like the hk21e,hk35a3,hk33 etc

what i meant by less recoil on g3ka4 is when u have a shorter gun= less weight=more excess energy=more power to use for stabilizing teh gun

It's the choice that makes the most sense since if MEC is based off countries like turkey... Turkey phased their G3s out for HK416s

Taken from the G3 manual,

Length of the barrel ... 17.71 in.
Weight of weapon with rigid butt stock [G3A3], without magazine ... 9.37 lbs.
Weight of weapon with retractable butt stock [G3A4], without magazine ... 9.96 lbs.

Recoil is a force. F=ma, where F is the force, m is the mass and a is the acceleration. The mass of the G3A4 is greater than the G3A3 and the working parts are the same, thus the recoil force is less.

Imo it depends on which middle eastern states MEC is set to represent in PR.. I've never known tbh - could a DEV enlighten us on this? Saudi? or is it something more like Iran/Iraq? I'd say there is a pretty big difference right there.. if it was the last of the two I quickly mentioned here I'd say AK47.
