i have not checked if they changed the standard loadout and what not but the ammo drum of A-10 can hold over 1300 rounds in total.
and i seconded the notion for removal of air superiority and multi role craft and inserting dedicated CAS planes.

Ideally fighters will be doing the job of keeping enemy fighters away from helicopters and other ground attack aircraft.
Also vehicles in general will become a more valuable commodity in PR.
I think one of the biggest issues we have going on in the game world right now is that we've still got vBF2 map settings... so tanks and aircraft respawn every 90 seconds (or less).
This is a hideous gaming experience imo and is really distorting people's views on how PR should be played.
We'll be releasing a map pack soon. That will give more playable maps that are optomised for PR. Also 0.3 will see adjustements to a few popular vBF2 maps.

I think planes should land to reload, but I also think that they need to taxi to a certian area to reload, and if forcing the pilots to land becomes a reality than there needs to be larger runways, maybe mutiple runways to support this new style of gameplay. I dont know how many times I go to land in vanilla and another jet spawns right in front of me, or ontop of me, or I run into another pilot trying to take off

Well to be honest, i think most of the maps are too small for fighter jets to be dog fighting overhead while an infantry battle rages below, it's abit silly and does reduce the team work-ness of it all. Although i think bombers play a large role in taking points and helping out infantry assaults.
maybe have certain maps for aerial combat, and if people choose to play them so be it, but i really doubt that would happen, i think most people who play this mod prefer the ground based combat with light aerial support ( helis and the like) But i think fighter jets have little part in PR.

the majority of people really have no idea how aircraft should be used in BF2, because youve not expirienced how BF2 was meant to be played. When you play in a 21cw style tournament where all 64 players are working as units its a amazing thing, you think aircraft take a way from teamwork but you dont realise they add to it. they make it more tactical and more real when you have a combined assault of infantry armor and aircraft. its an awsome expirience.

yeah like in DC where you had to land to re-arm and drive to a hangar to repair.

PEOPLE WHO WANT AIRCRAFT REMOVED PLEASE PLAY SOMETHINK ELSE!
I dont understand the problem with Jets, i play 'Grunt' or 'Helicopter boy' most of the time and jets just add to the fun and imerse me into a battle.
By the way, anyone complaining about no anti-aircraft defence - Are you not forgeting your planes too?
Ground attack aircraft hit ground targets.
Fighter's attack enemy ground attack planes, helicopters and fighters (Mainly defending your own ground attack craft)

pence, unfortunately the way BF2 system works, air cover is one thing that these fighters aren't very good at.
IRL these fighters intercept and engage them bloody damn far away before the enemy is anywhere near their victims, but since BF2 maps are so small in comparison to the range needed for proper air battle that's not an option.
so now the fighters have to engage them when these aircrafts are less than a few seconds away from their soon to be victims... that's not much time to actually deter them if u ask me, it can be done but needs a very specific situation, and even then... chances are.. if the other pilot is as good as u are, he will still be able to drop his load before biting the dust.

Wouldn't miss jets if they went but wouldn't mind better options as already stated: A10 seeming the most obvious.
