If you do post this around, just let the VBF2 Tards know that although the player limit would be increased, the actual server running the game can still drop it to 64 / 32 still ?

Exactly the same as now, 16p / 32p / 64p

Its just an option that would be there ?

They dont HAVE to play with 128 / 114 etc, players?

Signed, can the PR team not get in touch with EA and ask for this directly? i mean you PR guys must have a fair bit of influence, being the most popular and largest bf2 mod in the world..

BF2 is still the biggest mod for the BF2 engine. The amount of PR-players is small, if you compare it to the massess that still play vanilla. "A fair bit of influence" really isn't the case, I'm afraid .

Yeah, I've posted in most of the forums where these naysayers reside, namely FPS banana/ EA forum itself. Can't seem to get an account on BF2S though... I was going to shed some reason to them folks.

Why some people think they know everything about code and oppose a petition that would give them more choices in how they use a product they bought is beyond me .

Nothing, but it's just "common sense" of developers .

Same with marbles where I come from though. Each marble had a value, which was 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 and 1024.
