Alowing him to expand an ill-thought idea is not a good way to go. I am sorry anyway, i like to be firm (if a little too firm).

well...yeah, 2023 is too far away, I made that up based on my stock report, haha. (which claimed that oil would be out within 30 years)
Maybe changing the year in 201X or so would be more reasonable.
This plot was inspired by the movie "Syria". But I'm not really familiar with the actual situation and detail of Middle East, so I believed much of the plot I made up needs to be refined by experts

There's something I'd like know,
Is England(or Britain, I don't really know which is the right name) a member of EU?
My doubt is that they might be operating with US forces together.

England is a state like Texas is in the US, The United Kingdom of Great Britian and Northern Ireland is the correct name but is narrowed into just UK or Great Britian.

From my impression i could never see Great Britian useing the Euro, they are "Europhobic" in a sence. But i do think the UK is part of the EU. It's more of an offencive fighing force that the UK's army is based on at present and has the second most powerfull armed forces in the world.

If Britian had a choice wether to join the USA or the EU, USA would most definatly be the answer.

Did someone just mention 'EU' and 'fighting force' in the same paragraph...? lol... right...

anyways, thats not a bad story, and its plausible, but we need something set NOW not in 10 years. I so wish we could go with the Deus Ex storyline, or parts of it. but thats waay to futuristic/conspiracly theorist.

oh and btw, syriana was a very unrealistic movie.

Saddam Hussein refuses to let WMD inspectors have a look in restricted areas, and the US has to topple the regime and rebuild a new democracy in Iraq.

Alright. Let me take another whack at the storyline.

Taiwan declares an official decleration of independence. With it, the PRC holds to their word and wages war against the new soverign nation of Taiwan. With that the United States is forced to honor its relations with Taiwan and assist in the fighting. With that this drags Japan into the war since U.S Marines are stationed within the country.

China's very own Navy as well as its Marine Corps were the intial forces sent to Taiwan.

Meanwhile, key targets held in Japan were bombed by Chinese missiles and bombers. Intense dogfights were held between Japanese and U.S aircraft. Until finally China sends its Airborne Corps to Japan to seize and hold key targets until further Chinese troops can reinforce.

Once again the U.S is at war. United States decides to pull out of Iraq and concentrate on the war with China. With this Iraq's own American trained forces will have to deal with the countless insurgents and what not. U.S Naval and Marine forces are sent and deployed from the west coast United States.

This is when China decides to capture "Wake Island 2007". in order to cut off Naval forces headed for the pacific front. After putting up a tough fight over Wake Island, United States finally re-takes it. However by this time Taiwan had fallen. Overwhelmed, Chinese forces had stormed the capitol of Taipei and overthrown the indpendent government of Taiwan.

However the battle for Japan was still running out. With key battles being won on both sides, the outcome was uncertain. However reinforcements from the PLA were comming in fast, and Japan's armed forces along with the 3rd Marine divison stationed there would probably not be enough to hold Japan. The only hope was the Naval fleet comming in previously held up by the battle over Wake Island. China decides to make another suprise move. By invading the Philipines they hope to draw the U.S Navy south to help with it.

Anyhow... this took me forever. Although not fully done its basically how it starts. Perhaps while all of this is happening the MEC start forming up. Since the only date on the BF2 maps seems to be Wake Island 2007. Perhaps the MEC don't even come into play until 2008 to 2010. What do you guys think?

Somethign tells me that at this point, Taiwan is fucked if it tries to declare independence, as we are tied up in Iraq right now. But very detailed... however, it needs to include NK and SK, they would definetely jump at the chance.... probably Iran woudl as well... and Israel...

I can go ahread and write a story if the DEVs aren't already working on it.
