Main gun because it normally requires 0 teamwork

LGM's = 2x bombs, 4x missiles = 6 targets
A-10 gun @ 50 rounds a target = 10 targets

That says it all.

50 rounds a target means you have 10 pieces of enemy armor still alive. (Yes, I know there aren't that many.)


Regardless, my most used munition on a CAS planes (which I haven't flown much of anything for... what, half a year now?) is AGMs, although my favorite runs were Guns/Rockets, because it meant that I was taking out an infantry threat annoying enough to have CAS called in on them.



I was always disappointed no one usually called in infantry targets... I was up there to help, not rack up tank kills... Call me in for anything and I'll be inbound in 10-30 seconds, depending on situation...

And I was dissapointed, that when I called in CAS on infantery the cobra instead of hammering the area with the Cannon made one pass with hydras and then vanished.

But then again mebbe I should have specified the target, but it was one of those zomg CAS BUDDA JEBUS situations.

Laser guided ordnance. It safer for the air craft to use. do to the fact they can be used beyond visual range allowing them to stay out of reach. But this rarely happens because most pilot's use there air craft incorrectly.

rocket's can be good but i think there best used from a long distance. by getting a squad leader to mark a target and then arking the rockets on top of it the extra range will cause them to spread out allowing you to effect a large area. again it never done because people are idiots and have absolutly no idea.
