Those black lines are from low or medium light map render. Plus having a blackish shadow color. Same thing happens with all interpenetrates objects.

Oh and nice Norton Button there LtSoucy, does it come in small :-P

Yeah the rockification layer will come after I have place all buildings.

btw As I have stated a few times the combat distance / actual view distance (how much the cview is obstructed by trees) will be similar to korengal. That is more or less out of need to hide the fading out bushes. All hand placed bushes do fade out after 100m. The overgrowht ones fad out at 200m. So it is necessary for the map play style to have many obstructing objects, like trees. Once I have placed all buildings there will be about ~150-180 buildings, almost any enterable. (I did not count because I am too lazy for that. When we add in the dense hedges and Trees, the map will feel quite large, hopefuly creating some lenghty needle searching in the haystack

Cat that is AWESOME, I like your idea regarding combat range since its less then 100 meters most of the time here.

Sorry but id really suggest you check your eyes at a doctor... maybe you are a bit colourblind... :D
i really dont understand why you again use this weird colour...you could as well use pink and say its red sand. you are a good mapper thats abvious but your tiberium-affinity is really strange :D
dont take it personal ;)

You know...you might be color blind. No offense but your green color choices don't seems to work out. My buddies a graphic designer and one day after constantly noticing his color choices we caught him describing a color when it wasent even close. Hes still a GD but uses the color picker to test his projects.

Very Korengal feeling, but more village based. I sure the community would enjoy another small based map. I like the tree amount too. Definatly feel free to break open my level to grab any starting setting. Also those tarps are missing lightmaps. There should be a new lightmap download soon which will include all my statics.
