Yea... I use a keyboard dude how else do u think i turn? :? ??: Its not like i just use the joystick and not use A and D... and the initial arguement is that you cant do it with a joystick but it doesnt matter which you use because it require no input from the joystick/mouse if you are flying straight, you just turn... You made it sound as if the mouse is so superior because you can hover and turn 360 degree and I found the pretty funny, so let me wet my eyes again as I re-read your post and watch that movie once more

Personally I don't know how you guys fly Helos with a joystick. I mean really I tried, I really did, and I'm actually a pretty good pilot. The way joysticks work in BF2 is totally borked when it comes to Helos. The response is somehow based on inertia so that there is no return to centre but also the attitude isn't locked to the angle of the stick. In short, I find that when I use the stick its like pushing a heavy object through the vacuum of space and that I need to overcorrect the stick in an insane way. Its very clumsy.

I use a mouse, throttle, and rudder pedals. The throttle is from my x-52 and the rudder pedals are also Saitek made. At first throttle was strange but I have no issues coming from top speed to a perfect hover. It requires a better knowledge of each helicopter and which throttle percentage they hover at. But I find it more powerful than just keyboard. But thats me.

You guys can thank the canadian and the irish guy for arguing. Im getitng a mod to clsoe this cause the point of this was to show people that they ccan hover with a joystick throttle very easily, not whether you use a joystick or not!
