love how it looks but it looks like another firing nest while i personally always thought of the sandbags to be more of a "wall" where you can quickly take cover against , not a defense nest (thats what the 50cal deploy is for)

There is an easy way to build those holes in real life: just put some wooden plank over it, then you can continue stacking the sandbags.

Needs a little remodelling of course. But hey, nothing is too expensive for a bit of reality, right? ;)

My thoughts,

forget the camo netting, unless you make it stand like on the firebase, it will look strange and abnormal when you stand and shoot and the camo is cutting the soldier in half
- would have been great if you could 'dig' down ingame in BF2

The holes are too low down imo, looks more like drainage holes :D (if thats how its done IRL, I'll shutup.)

a circular sandbag thing like you have is a great idea, but I'd prefer it if you didnt have to jump in, a section cut out for a walkway would be better

Its for general purpose all round defence, not just in a particular direction.

General reasons behind the netting-
- Camo netting on back - make it 100% covered, so that approaching from the rear you will be "scared" and not know if a guy is prone in there or not.

- Camo netting on the front, suggest adding more of it, and as rhino says, not as blocky and more compact so it breaks up the person behind it a bit better.

My sugestion is that you guys should remove the camo net on top, make a circular sanbags from which you can shoot while prone, just lower the current 0.85 a little.


i ment crouch not prone, and i dont see the edit thingie.

Make sure you have show pic under your control panel turn on. Or have you ad blocked the site?

Very nice. Though I would rather have it so that the floor is lower and there are benches inside to prone on and a sandbag at the end for support. Maybe set it so that every other firing position is set for prone and others for crouch.
The prone positions will be great for accurate shots and LMGs. The crouch positions will provide more cover but less accuracy. Awesome for a WIP, keep up the great work. Also in .85 will you be fixing the firing positions on the bunker or maybe removing them because of this? Will they be replacing the current sandbags or an additional asset? Where is the entrance point side or top?

I do have 'Show images' on and unless AdBlock considers the pictures in your post as advertisements then they shouldn't be blocked...

thats what i made out of it , that its either the walls or the nest hehe
and nice work on the new version , i like that one allot, gives a feeling of more firing space (so that you dont have to crawl outside the window to get a decent shot)

it would be cool if we could build sandbag walls and firing nests, you pretty much can create your own frontline like this (if a decent amount can be build of course)
