How slow do you have to go over it to avoid triggering? Crawling? Crawling with sights up? Walking with sights up?
There isn't a throttle for infantry in BF2, so I do hope there is one definite state that can be used to avoid triggering the wire. Kind of to simulate stepping over the wire carefully without resorting to having everyone waste a year's supply of sprint and jumping over it like an idiot.

Can you make the Object destructible?? So if you notice the wire, you can chuck a grenade in the room simulating causing a secondary explosion?? Defusing the booby trap?? And will Engineers be able to defuse the Trap, With their wrench possibly??

Not bad at all. Glad to see we've atleast opened up to more unconventional tactics. Shame though... The Campbell Soup Company now appears to indirectly support terrorism.
Anyways, it looks like several people other than myself are concerned about to disarm these traps. Is there something we can do to counter these improvised traps? Possibly by:
Disarming by an external explosive source?
Disarming with a knife or restrainer?
Disarming with an engineer tool?
If we're aware of it, we can't afford to have it remain armed and dangerous. If someone was attentive enough to identify it, they should be atleast capable of removing it properly.
Afterall, trip flares can already be knifed.

hehe, if you block your cache off with these completely then everyone running to get the kits from them will just rack up the TKs, this thing works both ways

hehe, they keep the insurgents feeling warm inside while also giving them a component for there traps

Looks and i think it will play very nicely. The ONLY thing I don't like about it, is that the wire comes out of the can, then just disappears into the ground on the other side. Could we get so there are maybe 2 cans on either side holding the wire up?

Any dev word on
a) Chances of disarming that
b) What exactly is the "speed" that is safe
and
c) Will it instantly blow when its on top of a ladder and someone moves up or will we be able to go up, crouch, and proceed without setting it off?
