I think there is a BF3 in development only it has been delayed or even set on hold. I mean the studio is working hard on BF:Heros and they just got Mirrors edge out. I say we hear more from BF3 in 2009.

BF3 will come out Q1 of 2010.

I think - imo, They are working on something for us BF2 PC gamers, but are a long way off but its taking its time as they want to release a "true" multiplayer game, as that's where the money is, with at least 128p ... along with Windows 7 coming out, hence its taking so long ?

Maybe they wait and se what they can steal out the MAG! That is my opinion

they should just come out with a massive 1.5 patch, i mean like update everything!

they'll just pollish abit and release a new karkand.

1.5 patch will be a joke content wise. The best outcome we can get out of the patch are 2 fold.

1. Widescreen Support.
2. Full Vista Support.

Yep, I'd have to agree with 2010. I think they're gonna work hard in 09, then towards end of 09 we'll start hearing more about BF3, possibly previews etc. Then beginning, I'd say around March, 2010, BF3 would be released.

Because they registered the domain, doesn't mean they will actually make the game. It's just so people don't make parody sites.

For example, for you Canadians, everybody knows Canadian Tire....Well they bought out crappytire.com, .org, .info, .net. Cuz I call it crappy tire, and so do many other people.

Tbh, I'm happy with BF2, PR has taken it to a new level ,and starting from scratch will not be fun, for both DEV's and the community.

That would be so stupid for EA, considering BF2 is/was one of the most popular online FPS games. It's a cash cow and they know it.
