Dude, you have some insane skill, good job.
BTW, does the modeling program lag with that many polys? my computer lags with above 3000 tris with wireframes on. in 3dsMax

Why cant you import it to bf2, is there a limit to the polys it will handle? Or would I need a supercomputer to get decent fps

-Nuy i a good videocard,i have not the cheapest one,Quadro FX4600.
I get a bit lag while model is smothed, not enough memory.
I`m gonna use render software which smooths model while rendering, so i will keep up all my performance. And work with lowpoly version(animating ,etc).
-Your PC will crach before you notice it

BF can`t handle such models , polycount is about 15 times higher than Ka-50 ,and exporter would export it to bf files.

Fair enough boss, I figure you'd know. It is a pity because polish forces could use one of these or of course russian faction.
Excellent job and demo for your work, you should send pictures to the makers of black shark
I read its possible to convert normal ATi radeon cards to Firegl renderer ones with a bios flash

shouldn't he be able to take the model and make it into a high def bump map and then make the uv map on a lower polygon model. seems like it would make it leet and save time. but i don't know if it would work, only heard rumors that it can be done that way.
