last night i had that experiance on ur server
with noob admin training with little bird on korengal
it was ukwf|rambo something
we just gathered around a humvee at camp muprhy ready to go, then suddenly a lilbird appeared with rambo in it shouting us to get in
ok lets get in...the destination is LANIYAL...its just a jump over the hillside from murphy to laniyal with little bird
i seriously doubt that boon knows where laniyal is on that map...so i give him the grid coordinates aswell....he stes off and starts hovering slowly around the whole map at low altitude of 50m...every single taliban starting to shoot at us and hurt us badly sitting on the siderails completely exposed to taliban fire....so we start shouting BAIL OUT but nothing happens....as we draw more attention rambo even reduces speed and altitude hovering above laniyal and not letting us out of the chopper...more taliban fire incoming....technical opens fire from the valley, my squad bleeding out....people LOLing and shouting from the ground: noob pilot and bad things towards rambo....but rambo doesnt even think of letting us out ...he doesnt even speed up when the technical puts a whole salve into us...instead of that he slowly moves back across the mountains and really slowly trying to land in the fields next to IED road in front of camp murphy....its only a jump from murphy to laniyal, so why had we to make this whole 5 minute tour from murphy to outpost around the north passes to laniyal and than back to murphy? all at low alt and really slow speeds....WTF? is that guy dumb or what?
in rage, bleeding from nme fire and really upset, one of my squad members decides to give that boon of pilot a faceshot after we landed....he gets banned for teamkill...and that makes me really mad, because a kick should have beeen enuff of punishment for a tk after going mental, the whole team went mental cause all of us could see that....even taliban loled...that boon of rambo should have been banned for wasting us and the valuable asset...banning someone after a situation like this one is simply misuse of admin privileges imo
the server was well populated, so why are u admins training with assets u dont know how to use / on maps u dont even know the locations names? u wasted ur teammates and u wasted the chopper only to see how much incoming rounds a fully loaded little bird can stand? and then u BAN people?
f*ck off then!
ukwf|rambo is in no way involved with the Battleforce clan and therefore we cannot take any responsibility for his actions on the server. Your mate was not banned by an admin, he was most-likely automatically banned by Punkbuster for teamkilling however Punkbuster will only ban the individual for one round, not permanently therefore by now your mate will be able to join the server once again. I am sorry you had to tolerate such a moronic player on our server.
wookimonsta wrote:i dunno if i would rate this server bad, i play on their insurgency server quite a bit, and to be honest, i would just rate it mediocre, just normal.
the best way to get by is to not get involved with the admins.
now dont get me wrong, some admins of the server are quite good, and are good teamplayers and generally its fun to be in their squad.
its just some of the admins there are rather immature. i honestly don't know the names, quite frankly because i dont care enough, but i have had an admin and a squad member having a shouting match in voip about something. i have seen an admin kick (or threaten to kick ) for the apache.
now that is something that bugs me, i know its your clans server, and i know that some of your clanmembers put money in the server. but that doesnt make it right to kick a guy when he and i get in the apache (we had been waiting for three minutes after one of the admins crashed it). the best part was he first insulted the guy for two minutes, and then kicked him WHILE we were flying, obviously causing us to crash (i have the problem with flying gunning, since i need my mouse inverted for flying, but not for gunning, im gonna add a button on my mouse for that).
now not only is that highly immature, its also a bother to everyone on the team because you gotta wait another 20 min for a chopper.
so in the end, when good admins (i just assume the older players) are around, its a fun server to play (apart from all the locked 2-3 man squads, that pisses me off to, but its not really the admins fault) and i enjoy going there often. Its just a bummer to have to deal with a angry and somewhat noobish admin and then have him get mad at me when i ask him to stay off the choppers.
summary , its an okay server, hell i actually think its a bit better than mediocre, just don't piss off the admins that are still in puberty or whatever it is that makes them aggro.
Our policy concerning vehicle queueing is that the first people there should have priority for that vehicle however people in squads dedicated to that specific vehicle have an even higher priority.
Recently we have discovered that a couple of former administrators have been moderatley abusing their abilities on a few of our servers and since they are both Project Reality players i am guessing they have been doing the same on our Project Reality servers. The rcon password was changed this morning so hopefully these immature admin events should now stop.

You have complicated rules. You enforce them vigorously. Yet you still havent any rules anywhere. How are we to know? How about slacking the rules until you have them written down somewhere? Like keep it simple. Dont tk...
I stand by my verdict. My post was only regarding 2 visits, but I have on the server much more than that. And in those visits my opinion hasn't changed. I find the admins lacking, not very observant of reports of infractions. VERY vulgar and offensive towards the players.
General teamplay lacking due to alot of locked sqd, yet no response from admins regarding this.
Rating still stands: Bad

ah, thats good to hear, its alway nice to see feedback is taken seriously, and im sure this will make the server only better.

To be honest mate the rule isnt that complicated and its pretty obvious as well. You have never been on our Teamspeak or forums to report anything, nor have you messaged any of the admins on Xfire, therefore I dont really think you have the right to complain when you havent done basically anything to improve the situation, admins rely on players using the server to report things, we cant sit on there 24/7.

Well since people get kicked/banned for it, without knowing why then its complicated, since you still havent any rules posted in regard to this, even though the server is over 6 months old. How excatly do you expect us to know? Obvious isnt excatly the word I would use.
Joining the TS. No thanks. Just by looking at the chat and seeing the use of language from BF members is quite enough.
And how could I report anything, since You wont tell us what is allowed?
You have yet to tell me if locked sqds are allowed. You said you will take a tougher stand on this. What does that mean? No locked sqds? only locked sqds when below 5 sqds in all?
Only locked speciality sqds? Or none of the above.
Please pick one and tell me which one is obvious.

Where did you pull 6 months from mate? Our rules are pretty much commonsense, I would expect people playing a tactical mod to be remotely intelligent.

Well since almost every server has somewhat different rules, your server is of course the only one that uses common sense? And all the others are senseless perhaps?
THe TG server has a come first rule, unless there is a commander to assign the asset. You have where the first to make a sqd with asset name. Where exactly does common sense get into the picture. Why cant you answer a direct question?
Your saying its common sense is kinda like religion. Every religion claims that their faith is the only that is the true one. You claim that your rules are common sense and every one should be able to figure them out. So whos common sense is the right one? Yours, TG's? Igi? They all have different rules than you, so they must not use common sense
Regarding the 6 months. Well I pulled that off you own site where you announced that you where running a PR server. Look here
Project Reality Servers - Battleforce
If the rules are so simple and common, then why havent you written them down?

Mate common sense infers an obvious rationallity not a correctness nor wrongness, therefore the iGi or TG rules could equally be common sense and personally i believe they are common sense.
Battleforce only entered the Project Reality scene fully early this year and not six months ago, thus this thread being created in early January. I havent written the rules down since I am a busy individual and havent yet found the time.

You are correct about common sense, but you brought it up.
You said that by using common sense we should be able to deduct the following :
Our policy concerning vehicle queueing is that the first people there should have priority for that vehicle however people in squads dedicated to that specific vehicle have an even higher priority.
Where does common sense get into it. How can I/we use, as you say common sense to figure out what rules apply. As you said yourself, both TG and IgI use common sense in their rules, yet they are all different.
But not like the one above. So how do you think we should figure them out?
You claim that Our rules are pretty much commonsense, I would expect people playing a tactical mod to be remotely intelligent. is enough for the players to guess what the server rules are, I say is downright stupid.
And why for the 3rd time havent you still not answered my question regarding the rules of sqs locking?

Practically every server has a queueing rule and therefore people can take the small leap and assume that this server does as well, even if it is not stated in writing. Granted the rule regarding specific squads devoted to that vehicle is a little more complex however as long as the first rule is obeyd then it isnt that important if you dont know and i am sure someone on the server will explain the rule if they have made a squad devoted to that vehicle.
Locked squads are permitted if they have a purpose, for instance a dedicated flying/sniping/armour squad.

The training server is a sanbox environment and therefore you should expect to find some morons on there who dont care if they ruin someone else's game or not. Our administrators generally stay away from the server unless we need to test something, thus the lack of administrator presence on the server. If you need an administrator visit our forums for methods to contact us (Xfire, MSN, PMs, etc).

the ban will only be for 1 round, yeah there can be a problem with tards in training (TiT's) but the main base rape issue is solved with the larger no entry zones imo
