if you get an own engine, you consider to stick to all bf2 engine limitations?
i mean, just for the good old times?

  • PR Needs 1st Place
  • PR needs time
  • PR needs faztroperz!1
But if we dont win, we can still mod the Engine right? someone has to win.

I am not an expert but IF Devs develop a game on a new engine, it will most likely be a new game, nothing to do with the actual PR on BF2 engine... Its not gonna be the BF2 mod PR with fastropes...
Colonelcool125 wrote:Why aim low?

We will get #1 this year. I have no doubt.
Every PR sub-community (clans) should promote it. (we do)

Think of it this way:
The PR Forums have 25,000+ Members.
There have been 48,000 votes for split among every single mod on ModDB.

That should give you an indication of how well we could do.
I swear, at least half the members have only posted like one sentence, and prolly only in the help and hardware section

But I don't think it should be that hard winning, pr 0.8 has made the numbers go up, so I guess there's some truth to that :p

Colonelcool125 wrote:We should keep a running tally of how many times the word "Fastrope" is used in seriousness.

But still, Let's say 1/5 of those members are active. That's 5,000 votes. That's a lot.
then why do entire bf2 secion only got 4,084 votes?

:D

How can you tell how many votes a game has?
2008 Mod of the Year Awards event - Mod DB
just keep the mouse over and one of those little boxes open saying the number of votes, dont click, just put it over the name
