hummm 15 hours to down load Wtf iv never had to wait more then 15m for .5 .6 .7 .75 .8 but this is the first time iv used a torrent are they always this slow?

Torrent speed is dependant on the seeders (the ones who already have the file(s)) uploading. Generally the more seeders to leechers, the faster your dl speed. If a torrent is adaquately seeded then you can download at the maximum your service will let you. I was downloading at 300 kbs earlier, now it's gone to about 100 kbs, which isn't really that fast. However, torrents do not become corrupt (or cut off mid download) and you take a load off the devs for helping distribute when you become a seeder yourself after you finish downloading.

I hate torrents

You guys are bitching and whining about 1 hour and I got 1 day 22 hours over here at this rate.

And I'm stuck in school unable to start the DL until I get back home...

was getting 800kb/s and now getting 250-300, capapble of 1mb/sec downloads on uncapped stuff usually

Well if everyone just stays to seed it to at least a ratio of 1 then downloads will get faster over time as more people get the files. At the moment I'm downloading about 20 kbs more than I'm uploading so it'll be easy on me after I get the files to make up the difference (even though I plan on distributing it multiple times).
