I use to get a lot of TK's because I would shoot at anything that moved in front of me. But now I tend to hesitate a bit just to make sure I do not tk anyone. Its a lot harder now when insurgents pick up American kits or vise versa.

The only real way to prevent friendly fire is to have good communications. I remember times in a toc when artillery was about to fire, they would say over the radio "counterfire counterfire counterfire grid 1234 5678.. And then we would look on the big map to make sure we werent in the area they were gona hit, then reply "devil xray this is Ironranger xray all clear" Whether it be police or miltary, communication is KEY. 6 guys in a squad who are organized and communicate can, and most likely will always win against 32 guys who are unorganized.

i do usually hesitate, but no for long, i stop to check if the target is friendly or enemy. which usually only takes 2 - 4 seconds which isint much time for them to see me, and usually in that space of time it usually gives me time to aim as well, On insurgency maps with civi's i tend to hesitate alot more, incase i shoot a civi which i do alot lol

When I play, SOP includes:

-Kill anything bearing a red cross or crescent, unless it belongs to your team.
-You have 3 seconds to confirm friend/foe, after that open fire, confirmed or not.
-Destroy anything that could be of use to the enemy.
