I find all choppers are easy to land, maybe its the terrain you land on

I use keyboard and mouse for choppers and joystick for jets. i can land all of the choppers perfectly all i find is that the LB will flip if u decelerate, so just don't once u've hit the ground just let it sit there. problem solved :)

The flight model for helos in PR doesn't make sense. So, while I am a highly experienced sim pilot, I leave PR flying to pilots that have practiced this unique brand of flight model that appears to have little to do with reality.

Not a gripe, just an observation.
Out of interest, what would you have changed regarding the physics?

What choppers in pr or other mods/games do you think have the most realistic feeling ones?

I have the joystick that was mentioned above the X52, and it doesnt make a difference. I can fly just as good with any joystick out there as long as it works. THose 48 buttons are still not enough for me, lol.

Vegas flying in the video he posted is exactly what i do with the cobra to never get shot down, its the best way of getting things done. But its that type of challenge that you must give yourself on a training server to practice.

You dont practice just flying, you much challenge yourself and then you become a better pilot.

On Kashan training for example i take the a10 and do follow the leader by keeping myself absolutely directly behidn the leader, like so close i could reach out and touch his engine.

Then once i have mastered that, i go and do the same with F16 since thats a much more faster and harder aircraft to follow somebody by.

Then once you have mastered that, you ask him to do some low level action flying and follow him there, and so on and so forth.

Heres a tip.

In vegas's video, when he realized he cant bank into a tight turn because of the building around him and because hes going too fast, he actually decreases his throttle a bit, that immediately slows you down in any helicopter, to give you the time you need to turn.

Il work on a vehicle video for you guys.

Its the best transport chopper, ask any PR pilot what chopper do they'd chose for a drop they'd pick LB ,small/fast/agile and it can land almost anyweher if its even ground, and %80 of pilots who fly it land it perfectly, some w/o joystick(CMD.Unknown for instance). Not that it matters but dont call yourself an ace or something, just ask how to land it...

And if you still cant land at all just hover 1 meter above the ground...If you cant do neither then just dont waste it...

Also spend a game flying apache. That went well except my hovering needed some work :)
Yes it did  I remember hybrid kept telling you to hover

The little birds not that hard...... But i find the huey much easier.

Has anybody else experienced the bug or glitch when you land the super cobra... it will tilt to the right for no reason? Even on the carrier were the surface is flat. It's a pain in the ***.. seriously what gives?

If you have a joystick just leave it at -10% input (another advantage of them :p ).

Easy way to stay perfectly still at the carrier is to open console :)

Not a bug...just if you are not perfectly straight it will start to tip. Easy to adjust tho.

I love the Littlebird! I can do backwards spirals and loops and fly circles around other helicopters in it.
Just takes some getting used to is all, IT"S ALL ABOUT BALANCE.

Why is the little bird broken?

Because you crashed it?

LB is by far the best heli in PR in terms of controls -goes and does exactly
what you want.I use a stick and like the others have said - it needs some
throttle ~10% to stay "still".

cfschris wrote:Point of interest- flying with a keyboard+mouse is a ***** compared to joystick+throttle. More like if you can't fly in PR with joystick+throttle, then you can't dress yourself.

All PR pilots should seriously consider getting a joystick. Even a monkey can fly in pr with one :D
I can only fly jets with my joystick...

._.

Monkeys are better than me.. Noo!

Hehe, I prefer flying keyboard all the way. I can get a perfect hover too with enough concentration. I did try flying with a mouse once.. That ended spectacularly.

It's a bit far-fetched to say stuff like that though, as well as pig-headed. You don't know every PR pilot out there and how they prefer to fly.
