Dissapointed. It's not impractical, it's realistic. I'm sure I could organize *gasp* two whole people to drive a tank.
Open up PR 0.25, select an AT kit, shoot a tank twice. After the second shot the tank will make a little explosion effect, and transition to a wreck. In 0.3 they do not do this. You shoot a tank, then shoot it again, and it magically turns all black with no explosion effect. It's not something new, it's something you removed.
Yes, transport jeeps are now stronger than tanks. That's not an overstatement. Shoot a tank once in the rear and it will catch fire, shoot a jeep anywhere and it will smoke.

Will the SUV act as a resuply vehical too and if it takes a beating and manages to retreat, how will it avoid destruction because obviously the enemys will think to look near the repair station?

Well, that's not something we would have removed on purpose.
(Azn, I'm not up to date with who is a tester and who isn't but since you have played 0.3 I assume you are one. Have you discussed this as a bug on the tester forums? If not, do so.

)

A repair station would normally be inside the non-accessible zone for defenders. (The line defence can't cross without health punishment towards each extracting team's base. Start and finish.)

As I said, we might add it in later releases. The latter part about it being impractical was merely my own opinion.

Keep in mind that it isn't on helicopters or APCs either. This can be quite confising when you're flying along in a chopper, hit something, and instantly you're shot out to 3rd person view and your helicopter has been instantly transformend into a wreck with no explosion or even a sound after you slammed into that mountain.

HOw are you fitting 6 into a hunvee/ heavy jeep, in the normal seats or 4 siting on the back??. I would have prefered if they where protected inside the veihcle.

Is the sound missing as well? I mean not the impact sound from the projectiles, but the vehicle's own explosion sound?

No sound, no explosion, all vehicles are just instantly transformed into "wreck" status.
AFAIK it's already been reported, I just wanted to know if it will be fixed.

Well, if it's been reported then fixing will commence soon I expect. Have seen nothing about it on the dev forums yet, but it does seem pretty major to me!
I'll check the tester forums myself, and copy/paste to appropriate DEV section if I think it's necessary.
Pretty funny actually. 0.3 isn't out yet, and already bugs appear.

TBH, I'm not sure. I haven't tested with enough soldiers to fill it up completely. I'll do a quick search around the DEV forums though and see what I can come up with.
EDIT: Maybe Ghostrider knows, he's watching this thread too I see.

In the Hummer, they sit in the back; in the Nanjing one man sits passenger side, and the rest in the back; the Vodnik is all in the back.

I dont like that you are showing when a player gets killed now

could you remove this. Also to much smoke the sniper should be the only one with smoke!!

AznLB, if you're a tester, these statements should be posted in the
Tester Forums. If it's already reported and you want to know if it's going to be fixed, you can check the Testers Forum for that info.
If you're NOT a tester, then you should remind the Tester who is leaking that information to abide by the rules and stop the information leak or
at least stop posting the info he/she has leaked to you. The tester could confirm those questions you're posting here..

I am not sure about the limiting the medics to 6 revives unless the gameplay has slowed down alot to a more slow paced methodical/tactical sense along with the prone spam/MG thing with full accuracy.
Has that been fixed yet? Because if that is still in the game, it would throw everything out of proportion.
Also, has the smoke effects been upped and for longer?
And I agree with the above poster on showing of the enemy kill thing. A little camo star on their helmet or arm would be better than showing it on the screen because you would actually have to look for the body like in real life.
And how much have the original vanilla BF2 maps changed because a lot of people were having problems with balance on levels like Dragon Valley, and with the lack of cover which is needed in this mod etc.

What was/is the reason bombers have been taken from most maps now?
