It's not a feature they're working on. It's a bug that allows players to achieve super high speeds in said vehicles using the mouse wheel. You can check YouTube for this "speed hack", and they have videos capturing people in the act, and the cheaters themselves showing it off.

If they fix it so the bug works in reverse, say make vehicles slower than their maxed acceleration, well then that could be advantageous for PR. However, they just may remove moving by mouse wheel completely.

Will this help with reducing crashes when playing PR?

what about us vista user will you make pr compat with vista and help the 65-bit users cuze i got a new gaming laptop witha an ati graphics card and intel core 2 processor and pr only half work on 64-bit actully all the mods for bf2 half work for vista 64-bit

why dont we just make the game have a 1:30 min break bfore the start instead of 3 minutes?
i think that should fix the Sq bug...

AFAIK the point isn't that making squads within the last 1.30 min possibly reduces the risk of the squad bug, but waiting 1.30 min from the map being loaded by the server that does so, so this would completelty miss the point.

i.e. its end of map load-1.30, not start of map+1.30

Im a little confused as 1.5 patch for bf2 is already out since april?

Iam suprise EA is updating BF2 being that the game has been around for half a decade.

Are the PR Devs going to make a call on whether or not we should update to BF2 1.5?

I probably won't unless its necessary, due to potential for more bugs to be created rather than fixed......

I'm willing to bet its when BF2 1.5 patch has been released post beta and has been tested with the PR build.
