Yes that's right, instead of playing Counter Strike on the BF2 engine. But whatever floats your boat

I have a nice idea for a map maybe, how about a map based on a oil derrick on sea, with some weapon caches to blow up?
assets for SF, littlebirds and boats.
OPFOR, none

Sometimes the mods are stupid Ace...your suggestion is great. Another suggestion to this
Most (if not all) SF troops in Afghanistan and Iraq are trying to find Taliban and Al Queda leaders. You could make a VIP mode except the OPFOR are defending their leader, the leader being the commander who requests a special kit. If OPFOR doesn't have a commander before the round starts then they lose. OPFOR can go for 2 minutes without the insurgent leader kit. For those who will say they can just swap out the kit everyone 2 minutes or something...well there should be motivation to play the game it was meant to be played...I think it would be fun with BLUFOR being a bunch of SF soldiers. OPFOR would control most of the city, but SF would have a random spawn point somewhere in the city where they could start, and they would also have a main base with a temporary helipad with a few littlebirds, some boats (20-40% of most maps should be water) and DPVs or modded humvees (better speed, less armor, miniguns...more seats..not necessarily all of those in one vehicle though)
-Pro Tip: When you've picked up 3 infractions and 2 warnings within a month, calling the moderators "stupid" probably won't help your case much. Take a 7-day vaccation, come back having read the forum rules you agreed to abide by. -Masaq

I could imagine a delayed marker being placed somewhre nearby every so often, so that the BLUFOR troops need to go in and hunt for the guy they want, while most of the INS team try to defend him. Basically, a moving cache which can only walk around and be driven places. The civvy would become a decoy.
Why not pick a civvy at random, and then have them being the target. Unable to run, and unable to drive things, but can move from stronghold to stronghold. BLUFOR must go in and arrest (NOT SHOOT) the civvy.
Archer sounds perfect for that.
Yeah the marker could be a metaphor (or a compromise) to having a UAV following the enemy movements...although your idea about the Civvy is better...I still think I like the lopsided teams if possible...24-40 teams? Operation Archer would be great except I don't think theres enough city for it...maybe the devs could do a bit of remodeling if that particular idea comes through? Add a city maybe west a few hundred meters south of airport? Night time of course...silencers are a must (suggesting that over and over makes meh look like a newfag

) exchange hueys for little birds...add a few DPVs (don't take out ALL the humvees) and you'd be good to go...well at least from me
