Let me put it this way... How much does still need to be modeled for the dutch army faction?

AFAIK not much needs modeling in the entire community so there should be a few decent modelers around to take on the landing craft or something.

A list of modeling jobs might make the modelers crawl out of their holes and take them.

My advice is dont underestimate how hard it is to make a detailed Assault Ship ;)

The LPD is a job where you can book a skilled modeller for several months (with 1 month included of pure frustration over the task)

Trust me, Rhino can sign that bill as well.

Ice is making some statics and bugfixing our map Raid at dawn, as soon as he is done is will make the LCVP.

We got a LCU model done from our old Men of Courage mod but as we both know it not up to par with PR standard but that can be remodelled lateron.

The Marine faction wont need much, all handheld weapons are available from the main Dutch mod, we just want to have a FN Mag as automatic rifleman kit.

Light jeep can be the Landrover as used by the Brittish faction as soon as we need a helicopter we can look into making or aquiring a NH-90 helictoper or perhaps have a SH-14D variant of the Lynx created.

I allready have a map idea on the shelf to be created so as soon as i found someone fit enough he can start on it.

So as soon as our main mod is done and above mentioned things are done then we have a need for the Johan de Witt LPD.

And... since MOC has that computer crash, i dont think glimmermen has that version of the model for us.

anyway.

nice idea, was kind of seeing this coming, i also find it a bit unnessesary to have 2 of the same factions, just with very small differences. but knowing glimmermen for a bit i hope you tought it tru real good and that its doable.

good luck with it and all that.

Something I brought up before as well. Just make a list of things that all community mods could use (texture, model and I dont know wise) and let people see what they could do. Instead of keeping it behind closed doors, and letting people apply for something they dont know, just let them apply openly to a special model they could make.

It's not a new faction, it's a changed kit layout and reskinned models which will be used on new maps. It's like having zipties instead of a knife, you use them on different maps.

Go on and finish this mod and the Marines fast, But Quality first.
Now what's exactly a "Dutch way assault"? My guess is first discuss then attack.. But I could be wrong here :-D

Thats true by the time the marines got the green light the war is over :-D
the most important thing is that its more focussed on boats and infantry than choppers and LAV's
