Someone is still going to ask so:
Right click while un-armed.

It would be nice to get some kind of punishment for the coalition player. However, what is there other then a 120 second spawn time to stop the civi kit being used once again as a suicidal tool to get these preposed coalition punishments invoked?

I think thats the reason the 120 second timer must remain ESP. if you want to enforce a punishement for the killing of a civilian collaborator. Otherwise it may go the other way and youll have little unarmed men running out infront of grenades and apc rain again. Which whould be against the idea of this game trying to be realistic.

The odvious point is the game cannot determine intent- which suggests the punishment shouldnt be to much more harsh then the civi's 120 second timer for the coalition player.

Maybe a GLOBAL MESSAGE: ''DaveTheGun13 has shot a civilian, and will be reprimanded!''

Then gets a 120 or 180 second spawn time when he dies next.

But the 120 civi spawn time must stay I think.

You may be able to get the civilian concept to work, but it'll be extremely difficult to get it right. I'd just remove collaborators, if it were my decision to make.

If you want the "civilans" to mainly be "medics" then maybe flesh out their role more.

Make them into "real" medics, with a fitting skin, a case with medic-stuff in one hand and an ambulance they can drive around.

That would make it easier to identify them on the battlefield and maybe also make players more aware that they are indeed not supposed to shoot them.

How about allow collaborator's to heal the US Army too. For example, if the collaborator healed the US soldiers, then if he was restrained or shot by USMC, they lose just as many intel points as if they just shot him.

So what do the Insurgents get? The Insurgent's will gain intel from civies healing the USMC soldier's about their operations. For example, how many vehicles there are, a approximate location of a firebase, or how many ticket's are left. Just something random. However, this intel will only be gathered if the civie successfully heals a wounded american soldier, then makes it back to his Squadleader (or hideout/cache?) without being shot down. If he was shot by the USMC, they should lose a vast amount of intel points, along with losing some tickets or what-not. If shot by insurgents, they get the FF penalty...

Now that is a interesting idea. I Am sure with some tweaking. It would bring a new dynamic to the game play.

10 intel points lost can be pretty big for the US. But what the hands up animation does is basically help distinguish you AS a civilian at range. Doesn't help that the noobz still say "iz kill civis anywayz"
