yep, bloom is editable in 0.4 but it didnt change anything to me, at least i still had hard times at communication in APC on the move

yes, but it doesnt make sense, because when APC is not moving- its ok, once you're moving- you cant hear(very quiet) anybody inside, so thats not a problem of my sound settings

IF you are set at lower ms in th equality sectoin it seems that it doesn't happen i think, but neeed to test.


When set at a higher ms the communication is laging behind you. ( in as if you and the other people are actually floating int he air around 10-5m behind the vehicle. Its very apparent in choppers. Mumble is still useful to discuss what to do and what not, but you won't be able to easily communicated on the move.

Noone seems too sure when the PR Mumble sever will be back up, so the Reality Teamwork Community is looking at using a temporary Mumble server for our members.

This maybe available as soon as later today, and details will be posted in the private sections of our forum :

Its just you cant join yet because you don't have the client.

We are wondering whether or not to back-port some later version code into it that switches to TCP automatically if the UDP cacks out.

I think though we may organize a stress test of it soon to see just what it can handle.

The reason that we're trying to set up a temporary Mumble server for the Reality Teamwork community, is that we get the impression that the PR Mumble server wont be usable for at least a few days.

We cant wait to see use PR Mumble 0.5, but in the meantime we're happy to use 0.4 on temporary server for RT players.

Our game server is called "Reality Teamwork Mumble Server" so not having Mumble is kind of fail, and playing without Mumble sucks hard.

i cant get on!!! Is it a different IP address or port plz tell me cuz im new to this!!!!

The PR Mumble server is still down atm.

GCA clan have allowed the Reality Teamwork community to use their private Mumble server temporarily. Click the link in my signature and join our forum, and you'll find the Mumble log in details there.

The server is usually full all evening, but ask for a space using the mumble channel and an admin will make room for you ( having said that I don't think you'll get great ping from California to Germany )

Space, drop the plugs for your server will you? If anyone else was spamming adverts as hard as you, they'd have their posts deleted most likely.

bug fix making .5 using a differnet config file to .4 to prevent vanilla conflict crashes.

The .5 server will only accept .5 connections, so everyone wil have the same game settings

and those are the only ones I can remember, a changelog hasn't been posted afaik
