Remember the baics when setting up a FOB's layout...
things like tents for the men (like you have) seperate tents that would be for the officers,
larger tent or temp building that is used as a command center basically where they set everything up plan patrols ect...
Other things to be aware of are vehicles.. There should be a under cover repair area for all vehicles in the active area so if theres APCs the repair hanger or whatever will be setup to repair them same go for tanks,
Another one would be a Armory thats big enough to realistically hold enough ammunition and weapons for all men based at the FOB as well as enough to arm the vehicles there.
Another to look at would be Latrines so a few dunnys and showers but then you will need one for the Soldiers and another for the Officers. I plan to be making some new statics for those.
And most important dont forget either a field kitchen or a Mess tent, again i plan on making new statics for these
theres more but i will post them later

Mate i have almost all of this stuff in my map which u will hopefully see at one point. Lol i had bee trying to keep all the details as a secret so people got a surprise when playing but oh well

i need a latrine though so whoever models that will be a legend. A nice fat log sitting in it would be nice too :

The base in RL only caters to around 100 people. The PRT in Bamyan is 130 people. I don't have that many beds but there are enough for it too look believable. Plus there is a firing range in the bottom left of the base.

Another Update:
Four new pictures from various spots on the map have been added. Currently working through overgrowth issues while setting up my poppy and maize fields. Production on this map has slowed due to work on my new map. But please don't think that i have forgotten about Bamyan

with the tires out side the mess (I am guessing thats what it is) maybe rotate one set of the tires coz atm they look to uniform if that makes sense???

Its the base like officers club/bar/pub. I will do that thanks for the input, u are right it does look extremely uniform

Just a little peak at the revamp of FOB Moana which will be similar gameplay wise to the Korengal Outpost.
Ignore the road that passes through the hesco wall... That will be corrected soon

Just a little update. The map is still being worked on. Due to recently gainning the New Zealand Defence Force sub-forum this map will feature the NZDF. The map doesn't has quite a few small details that need to be added. I will post some more screens of recent work soon.

Just picked up work on this for the first time in 2 months. I'm thinking about doing retexturing the map soon, as i have only used stock bf2editor textures. Will post a new minimap up ASAP
