True about the TV station, quite true.
Don't get them wrong however, if DEVs suggest that you do not use this static it's because most ''new'' mappers tend to place it randomly on maps were it doesn't always makes sense pretty much like the big crane static or the big nuclear chimneys.
Well, that's what I felt was their reasons most of the time, because indeed the static itself isn't ''so bad'' altho its proportions are quite small for a national TV Station. IMO, having a new radio station or TV station static would be really nice. Same goes for those big office and administrative buildings we see all over M-E cities but that mappers lack most of the time.

It's still slow moving progress, but here is an update. Ive added a lot of objects to the map.

This tunnel's cover has been changed, so it does look better.

2 of the constuction site buildings, as you can see there are underground.

An underground bar, which is part of the tunnel system. I made it as a joke but i think im going to keep it.

remove those containers no one would put them toghether like that in reallife, add trashhills and other construction stuff like cabledrums or pipes or wood
better choose the other heli pad those look weird ingame

I agree with andy about the containers, unless there's been an earthquake/hurricane/typhoon those containers would be stacked fairly neatly.

Yeah Ive always thought those containers looked to funny and out of place.
And those helipads are there just for reference.

Besides some small future tweaks/additions, the pipes are pretty much finished.
Here are some screenshots. (i turned the texture to grid mode so they can be seen better)
Ive tried to keep it ballenced between looking like it does in the satellite photos and looking good.

but maybe remove the containers and add oiltanks you can sunk them half into the ship so that it looks like an oiltanker

Progress...
Well you've kinda walked in on me jerking off so heres my WIP tunnel system that ive been working on the last few days.

With out cover

With a terrain cover (not final just to give idea of what it looks like)
This tunnel stystem is likely to be the main base for one of the teams and also the last flag or simular (like barracuda missle silo).
As well as new higher res google earth images, I also have these new references
Map with references to the various companies.
Now I dont have to use my imagination as much and progress is now a lot faster with the new PC
