It's not PB's problem that's giving you the kicks, it's PR's md5 checks. It'll be supported soon when we put out a new server side hotfix.

A server hotfix has been issued to the server administrators for them to update their server to allow the hotfix. Be patient, it should only take a couple of days for all servers to be updated. I'm sure the server administrators will let their communities know when their server has been updated.

Been playing all night. Kein crashes

When you guys talking about Alt tab problem, are you guys talking about when you Alt tab out of game (Minimize) and when trying to get back into game by clicking BF2 icon in task bar (Maximize) it only does is get into black screen and game never show up again and have to Ctrl Alt Delete? That is exactly the problem I'm having since new patch. (I installed BF2 1.5, FH2 2.2, and PR0.87 at same time so I don't know which patch is causing this problem)

Will this patch works for problem that I explained above?

I had the Alt-TAB issue 2 days ago. I didn't use the EA official hotfix.

Let me tell you how I did it, if it can help. It's very easy :

In 0.86, I have always been playing with 2 x AA.

- So I ran the game, desactivated the AA, closed the game, deleted the MyDocs/Battlefield2/Cache folder, and relaunched PR.
- Graphic optimization is made during the map load. Alt-Tab was working again, but quality was not good enough.
- I restart the game, reactivate the AA to 2x, close PR, delete the cache again, and restart PR.
- Graphic optimization is made again with AA reactivated, and old cache deleted.

----> ALT - TAB WORKS PERFECT LIKE EVER ! In PR, FH2 and BF2

Follow my steps and tell me if it worked on your computer !

For info, my system is :

Dual Core Centrino
8600 GT
Vista 32

Does not work. 90% of servers kick you for 5-10 mins saying dx9.dll mismatch or whatever the file is called.

If you dont wanna get banned from servers dont use this.

Afaik, almost all the PR servers have the updated MD5 checklists now; you shouldn't have any issues using the hotfix (although it's possible) at the present time. And you may get kicked for MD5 mismatch, but it shouldn't ban you.

It's really simple. Just follow steps 2, 4, and 5 from my guide here: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... 9-dll.html. When the server runs an MD5 check, all it does is go to your Battlefield 2 directory and scan the actual RendDX9.dll file; it doesn't scan memory or anything like that. If you run the bat to start off of the fixed dll, then before you join a server, run the bat to go "back" to the official dll, your game will send the correct MD5 to the server.

You will only have to do the bat files for a few days anyway; they will have the new md5sum up soon.

I just tested the FOV and screen ratio. There are no differences between 1.5's and the hotfix.

try to unzip with 7-zip
If that doesnt work, redownload and try again.
