Gunning in the Cobra while behind the mountains waiting for targets. I was chatting with the pilot about god knows what, when he stopped responding to comms. 2 seconds later, he disconnects.

Oh ****.

Fools Road. Russian. No APC squad. oh ****.

We get a driver and rush to Hill 133. Capture it. We go to train depot (a feel feet away). Cap it.

We move north, have heavy resistance, get pushed back, APCs far far away, FOBs far far away...

We lose!


Wellllll this all started when the Commander joined in. 3rd time he played the game. As we moved on, welll, I explain to him that he doesn't have to build an FOB in main (as he did) because he has to use the UAV trailer!

He then learns how to use markers!

"OK I'M CALLING IN AIR SUPPORT!" he puts a CAS marker. "Sqd 4 any air support goin on there?"

lol.

We lost. But my squad wouldve deff won the game if it wasn't for the bloody lack of APCs.

I was with a squad somewhere on Ramiel. Then a techie comes and runs over SL and AR, so i was alone. He turns around, tries to kill me, but i always dodge him. So i run out of compound while he was going south to get some speed, and another techie is driving towards me. The primary one is on the way too. "Oh ****".

But they didnt see eachother, and i was standing on the collision path They killed me, but both blew up too ^^

Being an insurgent on Al Basrah, flanking an enemy squad that was pinning my squad down, shotgun one (yay) and pick up his kit, run round the corner - 3 enemies looking at me, I pull the trigger. Click. Oh ****.

Ego Crushing OH **** moment

Our 6 man crew was fighting on Jabal when we lost our rally. We spawned on the carrier and there was huey and no huey squad, so

-SL- "Anyone a good pilot?"
-Me- "Sure, I could do it"

So we all get in and fire it up and start heading up the west side of the map. SL wants to drop in the hills. I tell him there is no problem and start my approach.
A few seconds from landing I go to hit the voip button and tell them to jump out.

-Me - "OH SHIT! OH SHIT! YOUR GOING TO DIE!"
-SL - "Are we hit?"
-Me- "No, I just accidentally hit the wrong button and jumped out! Youre going down!"
-SL - "AH ****"

I hit the ground and was only bleeding a bit, so I looked up and continued to panic while I watched the 5 in my squad spin around in a pilotless huey. Fortunately the huey landed on the side of the hill and no one died..... well that is until i tried to take off with the nose of the huey pointing almost straight up the hill. Producing the final "oh shit" of the night.

To everyone on that flight, I reconfigured my buttons so it shouldnt happen again. Thanks for flying Bishop airlines.

Was in a T72 on Kashan and me and my gunner saw a Bradly on bottem of the ruins facing North bunkers (not the big ruin complex, the smaller one on the hill) so we he shot his first TOW and missed by a few feet. we deside to flank around from the north east and and come from the top of the ruins. right as i drive over the hill and see him littrly 5 feet away my gunner ctds. im left thier starin at him for 3 seconds till he relizes im thier and i die...

NEW OH **** MOMENT!

Playing the Beta version, as an SL, going to revive my squad (I was the last one alive). They were all inside the same foxhole. As I'm healing one of them, we hear some noise, A USMC jumps into the foxhole and knifes one guy. I had already switched to my gun. Bye beach! *click click click* oh ****. Knifed.

Mine was on Assault on Mestia as a Chechen medic. We had made the epic defense of west objective, managing to build two 50 cals and all the possible foxholes we could build on top of the warehouse. The whole game consisted of us defending this literal castle from the Russians. Me, being a medic, was tasked with keeping my well-trusted squad alive. About ten minutes after we built this castle, we started taking fire from these bunkers about 200m away, and this was all fine, i managed to revive a few that got hit, but eventually they decided to storm the warehouse itself. They managed to get inside, and were decimating everyone below us.

But, my real oh **** moment was when they had decided to throw multiple grenades up on the roof, and we had all scrambled to get into our foxholes, two of my teammates got hit, and I had to jump out of my foxhole to get them, as an APC was blasting the hell out of our position. i managed to avoid being hit by tracers literally an inch from my face and revived both members, and as this happened, we could hear multiple grappling hooks being set up, so we had to get out of our foxholes and shoot the climbers while this APC was shooting at us and there was smoke and explosions everywhere and the ultimate oh **** moment was healing someone and turning around to find a Russian submachine gun in my face which i had no clue how he got up there.

all in all it was an epic defense and an epic death

When me and a fellow US armor squad were at the village north of the MEC main on kashan (can't remember the flag name), all chilling and cooling out with 3 abrams, a few bradleys and a shitload of hummers and trucks, making a fort and all.

My tank squad decides to patrol the outskirts of the village, when I look up (I was an abrams gunner) and see a low-flying MEC fighter jet going for the village.

"JET ABOUT TO BOMB THE VIL-"

He drops a 1000 pounder, unguided none the less and manages to miss the clusterfuck of armor and infantry by 50 meters.

"nvm, threat over- ANOTHER BOMB"

Once again, I watch the jet swooping in and drop a bomb, this time it hitting the top of a bradley and sending the abrams next to it flying.

At this point the good ol F16 came around and started dogfighting with the MEC jet. It ended in a spectacular show of him shooting the blasted thing down with his nosecannon. It felt like I was watching some kind of warmovie unfold, and everyone else in the village climbed on top of the vehicles to watch it.

All in all, we had a massive cheer afterwards, when just before every US soldier and his mother was ducking for cover when the jet came in for two bombing runs. He sure needed training on accurate bombing however.

I certainly shouted "oh ****" to myself when I saw the bomb detaching itself from the jet above the village, and thinking it was going to wipe it out.

Was on the containers at Muttrah, squad died and left me, was the only one on the mainland. Oh what the heck ran over and proned down a 2 story container and landed on my ugly mug, stood up and turned around and right there were 2 MEC guys. Took about 2 second before they realized what happened and opened fire. Gore was no more. They didn't expect me to come flyin over the containers I guess...

My Oh **** moment:
I was on Jabal al burj, waited those long 17 minutes for the attack huey to spawn...
it did and I took it then I started flying and I saw an enemy APC that just passed the bridge thats get the MEC to the center city... it stopped there... now due to the bad draw distance on that map... I did the first pass to take it out but I was too late to see it so I fell back, did the second pass he changed his position, did the 3rd one he also changed his position, I also knew that I had to shoot him then When I saw him I was a little late so I turned a little right to face him, oh **** a buildin pops up in front of me!!!!
then I instantly got out of the server because I was ashamed of my stupid kill greediness!!!

I did a million times...
but our team sucked and they were giving me like 1 cordinate each hour only... I had to find targets my self

Ok not really.

I believe it was on Operation Archer (can't remember for sure) and I was on the insurgent team. We were harassing the Americans who had taken the airfield and we had found a car to play music with. Well most of our time was taken up riding around in this car listening to the music constantly, dance parties, and head banging (one instance of which involved driving very close to a tank to leave the airfield). All the while I was driving. So the squad leader died when out of the car and we were going to meet up with him on the far side of the map were the cache was. So we proceed playing music and going along the main road as before... and then we reach a valley. At the entrance we see at least one friendly squad just sitting there with trans vehicles and the question came up from several of us, "why are they just sitting there? Oh well lets keep on going." So as we go through this valley, listening to the music as before, out of nowhere up on a ridge a squad of Marines ambush us and mow us down before any of us could return fire. '~'

On Kashan, Me and another guy (sorry, forgot name) decided we would try and overrun a FB ourselves. We drove our empty supply truck down there, and crawled over to see about 4 guys defending it, and 1 on the AA that had just destroyed a jet. We crawled up, and on 3 we took them all out. Suddenly I got killed and the other guy was about to get out an incendiary 'nade but someone spawned and took it out. How I hate when that happens...

Was defending south bunker with a bunch of MEC guys as a medic. My SL is in the control room, but there's a wounded LMG gunner by the rear stairs, so I go and patch him up. I go to pop my head out the back door, but think better of it and turn to leave.

But wait, there's a really nice looking grenade sitting perfectly on a stair at eye level.

Oh ****.





Killed the LMG gunner I had just fully medded up too. What a waste.

My Oh,**** moment.

I was playing all night on Kashan as Mec - mainly tanker shooting abrams and chopper for several hours. Then I change server again to find another Kashan map running and joined. I hop into the tank and with my driver and went to the west to the mountain... and I saw a Blackhawk hovering 100 m away and I hot him down in a blink of an eye being very proud of my quick aiming skills till I got two TK punishments....

I was Oh, ****... I am on American side now....
