or some sort of way so infantry could jump on top of a vehicle but not slide off or be killed when the turret moves, maybe an invisible board which is static on top of a vehicle?

Its impossible due to bf2 engine but you can add seats in there that dont require the crewman seat

You people simply don't read , and are really stubborn.
First thing first.
ONLY PILOT CAN GET IN IT
NO PROTECTION
PILOT HAS NO WEAPONS
If you think this would be used by noobs well you are wrong.
Rudd happen to be an excellent player and he would do such a thing to rescue a pilot.
PR isn't about tickets , it's about teamwork and promoting teamwork. Always has been.
And If I had an attack helicopter and would see my team mates in deep s*** I would be the first one to help.
If you see a player abusing it. There are admins who would KICK for that.
Also about the tank idea and apc idea.
Having people on top would be nice.
More realistic.

It's not impossible.
Seen it on a mod.
You could have a guy sitting on your barrel of the tank.
Some guys on top of it.
It's not impossible.
They turn as the turret turns.
EDIT: Note: Sorry for double post, I hurried a bit.

On tanks maybe, on apcs no...why should you, you have all 8 seats inside, why would you want to be outside the apc when you can be in + you would be blocking drivers and gunners view

Seriously guys, this happens what, once in ten years?
It's not common to do this, because the dangers you mention that will exist in-game, also exist in real life. In a situation like Kashan Desert, with APCs, Tanks, ground troops, AAVs, Blackhawks and a littlebird, would you seriously think command would authorise an Apache to land in enemy territory?
Also, this might be done on an Apache, how about a Cobra, a Havok? They must have some leet spec-ops style pilot rescue as well then.

Havoc has small compartment which can fit 2 people
and why if something has some unique features, it
must be mirrored?

At first I thought this was a stupid suggestion. Then, shock horror, i actually read the post and thought about it.
If its limited to pilot kits, perhaps it should be down to the apache pilot to decide whether to take the risk. We rely on plenty of other people in PR to make risk assesments assets that if wrong could cost the team.
The only problem is potential stupidity, but it quite difficult to exploit this, what's the worst that can happen, people riding on the wings for fun?
The only
potential exploit i can see is parachuting off to an area where you know there is an APC or a crate to grab kits from it. If that could be dealth with somehow I'd be for it.

FH2? Only problems I can see is that:
I doubt you're going to riding on the back of a tank as close to the front line as portrayed in PR. Maybe I'm wrong here though, but i've only ever seen the Russians do it extensively (something to do with avoiding injury when mines hit?).
You'll be bleeding out of your ears when the gun fires.
Edit:
Unless you mean
on rather than
in(side), in which case we're talking at cross purposes.

Locked for resuggestion.
For the record, I'm very much in favor of giving players all the tools they would have available to them in RL.
As for the "it will be used by noobs", so what. So will everything else. If someone does something to you that you don't like, do it back harder (or better yet, think of an even more creative way to dish out some payback.)
