I have asked something kinda similar to this B4 but now I am wondering with the Polish factions that use EoTechs and with the MRAPs coming into the game will the us forces get another map with MRAPs and EoTechs instead of the aimpoint or both? Like USMC maps that be cool if there was a insurgency map with MRAPs, Vipers, LAVs etc... Like that one Brit map...

Not trying to troll or get anyone mad so....

I would also ask for a combined Arms USMC map. Just remember, maps, and new content take lots of work, maybe a year if a single person were to work on them. MRAPs would have to be modeled, and imported and coded (3+ month long process) then the map which could take another 5, etc. On another hand, as in Vipers, you do mean the AH-1z?

If it makes you happier I was thinking and considering making a 4x4 (maybe larger) USMC vs. MEC map, full blown, Assets similar to Kashan.

Just a FYI map have nothing really to do with weapon load out or vehicles. Two separate processes that are only combined in the end.

PLA is the faction that deserves the most work...even more than the community factions I'm afraid because everyone wants to mod and play the "Good Guys" so to say. Too many bluefor and not enough opfor variety.

There are only so many "Bad Guy" factions in PR and the PLA is easily the one that is lacking both in maps and equipment. Much of the vehicles in use are still vBF2 models.

There is also this fascination among mappers with Chinese villages and rural settings. There are more MEC City maps than there are PLA city maps (Sunset doesn't count...), even though the vast majority of the Chinese population lives in cities---not 19th century style villages that are usually tourist attractions.
Imagine maps with Skyscrapers and 10+ story buildings....it would be a mapping nightmare I know.

The Brits need some love, I like the British as a team in PR.

they are getting a new tank afaik, and I'm sure the DEVs will use the VN3 model that has been made.


I would love to see a map featuring Vn3 asymmetrically balanced with Scimitars.
