some ACVs have weapons on them, such as the Stryker, LAV-III etc and its also pretty common for the Sultan to have a GPMG on it but not always but as mentioned before, these weapons wont be usable.

For thous vehicles that do have guns on them where there r/l version dose, they are simply place holders until we can get the proper version in :)

Indeed!
[R-DEV]Jaymz - If it wasn't for the F-18's incompetence, "Independence Day" would have ended half-way through.

Will the Brit thingy be used as a real vehicle as well because that would signify the Viking or Mastiff in Sangin???

Warriors would be unrealistic I believe as they arn't being used in Helmand?

Viking is not possible with the engine (having two parts linked together) and I doubt the mastiff is modeled anywhere. The vehicle has its role now though, in the base actually being used by the command.

As Tim mentioned the Viking is not possible to do with the BF2 engine.

The Sultan is a dedicated ACV vehicle so it can't be used as an APC, although there is anouther CVR(T) much like the Sultan that is an APC though its much lower and not used much these days.

No Mastiff currently modelled and no plans to make one any time soon, and there are a few Warriors in Afghanistan currently afaik.

The M577 is being phased out by the Dutch. ;)

@ Devs, does this mean the USMC will get their ugly VBF2 model replaced with the one made for the CF? (Since you mentioned the only difference was the interior)

And will Desert coloured Strykers be standard from now on? (Green for woodland, desert for...desert :P )

I gotcha. I know there would be a whole coding rework, a new Vehicle Weapon probably being made so he can hold the map, a new weapon, PCO Movement, and I bet you could name more.

Great work guys.
