I'm just curious about how far in the near future BF2 takes place. If it's 2010-2015 then I think the Chinese should have a pretty decent sized modern navy. Then maybe some unconventional naval assets could be added for the MEC possibly, such as converted freighters that can fire SCUD-like missles and/or anti-ship/cruise missles.

Yes and even a converted oil tanker or frigate could possbile be converted into a MEC aircraft carrier if not realistically for aircraft then helos. Also you can give the MEC some old Russian Diesel subs, and I would love you guys if some kind of underwater sub vs sub battles could be possible :shock:

Good point about the diesel subs. I believe the Iranians have been purchasing some Kilo class subs from Russia.

Because the BF2 engine features dynamic lighting, the M84 Stun Grenade (Flashbang) will definitely be considered for addition.

nice to see the community is really growing...cause that means...that they gonna be enough people for me to play with..when the mod comes out...lol
By the way..since I'm a big fun of the option (it's only an option) of no respawn...there is a large topic (147 replies) in novaworld, JO about putting the option of no respawn...which means that there enough people out there..that they do want to see that option...

Battlefield is a game that is not created for single rounds, the game-types need a flow to them. We have concepts to make it more realisitc. I can not say anything concrete about it for now.

The way this mod is going to come out, you will even forget that it isn't round based. I mean, yes AA is round based, but is the game realistic? Visually yes, some gameplay yes, but nothing like the beast we will unleash! Lock'n'Load :)

you build my expectations up now...so i'm looking forward...any idea where are u looking in beta testing the mod...? Is testing gonna be before or after the release of the BF2 game..?
