I love this gun. Even if the sound may be unrealistic, it kicks *** completely!! I hope the previous HK machine gun wont be removed from the game completely as it's a beautiful weapon too.

Will it be used for other roles within the MEC forces aswell? Deployable MG, for example.

Sound: Should be a little more aggressive and louder
Recoil: Much more recoil while standing/kneeling. The only time the MG3 is fired in a non-prone position is to provide covering fire to an approximate direction.
Model: Is fine (Rails are weird but alright)
I second that. The sound is much louder and what you might call "aggressive".
When kneeling/standing the recoil is immense. You shouldn`t be able to get more than one round to where you are aiming at.

But I swear to god, there is going to be so much german accent on mumble whenever some has that weapon! xD

I noticed you can use the Iron sights when undeloyed. Are non scoped LMGs gonna get their zoom while deployed remove and in return let us use the Irons in undeployed?

7.62x51mm NATO. i.e.:, same as the M14 and M60 - it's a WW2 design but the 7.92mm Mauser round was never a NATO standard - which obviously it needed to be for adoption by the Bundeswehr.
