i think it should have just had a no go zone around it which was a little larger this would give the reality of the base being occupied by alot of troops, not to mention the fact they would be overwatching the base. not many bad guys come up to the base unless they mean bad.

AAVs are not only used for amphibious operations, they were also in Fallujah IRL.

Of course not, AAVs are assigned to a company in every infantry battalion, LAVs are their own unit.

I.E. 1/5 Bravo Co. is a track company utilizing AAVs.
