'Sirex[SWE wrote:[MoW];1260524']No, pressing a button and talking and that people around you hear you is simple. Typing while in battle is not.
Sorry at what point did i say that talking via mumble wasn't simple?
You asked a question and i answered it, I never said that typing was better or faster simply that a lot of people can manage just fine without mumble.
Also you still haven't answered my question.

I don't mind building at all. I think it's pretty pathetic when people get lazy in a video game...
Seriously... you're not exercising any muscles... you don't even feel that lactic acid build up burn... you know why??
BECAUSE IT'S A VIRTUAL WORLD DUMMY!!!
It's pathetic how people are lazy in a situation where they are sitting in a chair burning -50 calories an hour.
Shut up and play. Firebases are necessary and most often there's 1 per squad buiding. Big whoop.. you have to click for 30 seconds wah wah wah. It's not tedious either... and if it's tedious to you I have 1 suggestion:
GO BACK TO THAT CRAPPY MODERN WARFARE INSTANT GRATIFICATION LAME CLUSTERF$&% OF A GAME!!!
We'll all be happier without you.

OT: I was the SL who called it in! : D We tried to sneak up on that firebase several times, but no matter how we did it either the APCs came and wiped half the squad out or you spotted us before we got a chance to fire. We ended up calling the arty on you.

I think that generaly most people are angry at their government about tort reform and such and that construction unions are choking our infastructure at the most base upon which you can see that is understandable.
Summary: Our thesis upon which construction isn't an viable option of reform and use. It is a blue sandwich.

We do need more builders, I have played several maps but all I ever see is my SL radio, shovel, inside of logi truck, SL radio, shovel.... I cant even keep people in my fob squad they get tired of building because nobody else will, some maps 6 fobs, some 20-30. But guys really with a full squad, 20 seconds and 1 crate 200-400 meters out from your objective a hidden fob will save your team a lot of trouble.
Thanks to all of you that are building fobs!

The problem with FOBs is that they go down wayyyy to easy and it completely depends on the map if they will go down easy or not. On an open map like Archer where everyone knows where all the FOBs are, they are easy to take out. Gaza is so small that all the spots to put FOBs are pretty much known now. Beirut's a big open city and I've spotted FOBs far away and there aren't many hiding spots on that map either. On the big maps like Yamalia, it works fine (even though it comes at a price), but on some maps (Lashkar for instance), you could spend 5 minutes building, but if you come back 10 minutes later, the FOB will be down, even if it was in a good spot. Unless a helo is on the map, trucks are easy to follow and once the enemy tracks them, FOBs go down quickly, especially when trying to build them.
And as before in 0.85, people still leave Logistic trucks behind, so you can't exactly expect to fix the human factor. If the map doesn't have helos on it or decent helo pilots and your team has limited supply trucks and its a huge map, you are screwed essentially. All the enemy has to do is block your main and no trucks will be able to get out.
I just don't see how anyone can argue with the above post, because it makes so much sense. You spot on with everything you say in this post and the others you have written. Just lets hope somone is reading what you have wrote and makes the changes that are so desperately needed. Still, people will tell you that you should have played the beta and that your opinions don't really count now. However, I think these people must have over looked the fact that there were many more good servers that were not running the beta.
