Häyhä used a Finnish variant of the Mosin-Nagant.

Thanks to Lange for making this thread, i had absolutely no clue you could request ironsights on your weapons so yeh thx for this extra content devs i'll be giving this m14 a go soon!

It's for those of us that are bad@ss enough to choose battle rifles over assault rifles. Ironsight Draggy FTW!!!

Their should be a small zoom when you sight ironsights weapons.

I dont get around to shoot many other rifles then the ones attached to the medkits. Maybe this disqualifies me from discussion, i.e always using the ironsights.
BTW one has to love the Taliban medic-rifle and militias. Oldschool =)

Have however used all scoped and unscoped weapons. Love the unscoped DMR and LMG for that matter. They shoot just as straight without the tunnelvison plus faster eyealignment. Of course, on the longest shots, scopes rule for obvious reason.
Most shots however aren't that long. And as stated earlier in thread, shots around 400-500 meters with unscoped DMR works.

Another upside to unscoped IMO is that in a distance you look less important on the battlefield. Always good. And for example the ins picking up your unscoped LMG or DMR will be dissapointed. Psywarfare =)
