We should be able to kill the enemy by firing more. Its just too unrealistic and annoying for the enemy to be able to revive 100 percent of the time

Kniving wounded, or killing them with explosives like grenades to finish them off would be handy, shooting would make it too easy to kill as people would just spam rounds into bodies, but i also think headshots should be insta-deaths again so some more fear is put into players during firefights and making ambushes more effective

If you get shot and your squadmates or teammates aren't there to fire back or cover you, you should be dead anyway. That would also help encourage squad tactics and discourage lone wolfing.

It could make lonewolfing more rewarding again too. Atm it doesn't really pay of to take on a squad alone, seeing as they most likely manage to kill the lonewolf before the whole squad is down. If he can finish of a couple of guys or one completely and than leave it wil make it rewarding again for some people, and pretty easy.

I'd like headshots to be dead dead again aswel and finishing of wounded by shoting them maybe, but if that would make lonewolving easy again, i'll make the trade off.

Maybe finishing somebody off wouldn't be such a bad idea, however this shouldn't be something for free. Conventional armies should get the same penalty as for killing a civilian for next five minutes. This way it would be a strategic bargain, and if you are not careful with decision, you'll screw yourself up.

I know this isn't hardcoded because POE2 does this, but I think this is a re- suggustion for anyone requesting it because I'm pretty sure I posted in a thread suggesting this a LONG time ago.

They aren't really allowed to, how do you know these men acted according to law?

Yes but they're still revivable despite the fact their head should be turned into mush.
I miss the old PR where one .50 cal shot ANYWHERE on a person and they would go down and be dead dead, couldn't get revived.

I dunno but I think the OP is talking about how a lot of times you get torn to shreds by a 30mm cannon or more likely a .50cal and you go DEAD DEAD instantly. Has happened to me many, many times on Insurgency maps. Not sure if I'm just unlucky but it seems to me that to kill with something above rifle caliber is not that difficult of a task, especially with HEAT.

Other then the assets having a rather high probability of killing someone you can always toss an incendiary on a corpse to ensure death (or mollies.....which is ALWAYS a pain).

im pretty sure u can double tab a wounder soldier legally according to the Genivia convention...im not going to look it up but paraphrasing here....when in an engagement and moving forward to and through the enemy....you can put rounds into a downed soldier...but once your FLOT(forward line of troops) passes a soldier that is wounded(some how was missed or survives the double tab)...it is illegal to go back and kill him.....that was the way i was trained....and im pretty sure other armies are trained the same way. you would only take prisoner if you had the logistics to get them shipped to the rear...

it would be an interesting delima of using the downed wounded soldier as bait to lure the medic...or just finishing him and as the downed soldier....would you want to be finished...or scream to your sqd to clear or smoke the area...or just give up...

Ok, to finalise. Right click over wounded player with incendiary or throw Molotov onto him. I play primarily as insurgent and when I drop an enemy I always pick up his kit and drop an incendiary on him. This kills the wounded player outright.

Prior to .91 an incendiary grenade would finish off a wounded player easily. Now, I think that feature is gone or has been made much harder. I know 14.7mm and higher will kill wounded soldiers.

When playing a good squad that you KNOW they will be sending a medic straight away to their wounded,

Its alot of fun to ambush them

The most epic is always the sniper shot, then waiting for the medic. But in my EXP its alot more fun and laughts when using IEDs or C4 You have to be sneaky tho and not let the wounded see you or hear you operate, but it works most of the time

I remember once I was on Basrah, at the desert house. Killed like a few guys rushing in with my techie, then I dropped an ARTY IED and went back to the mosque rooftop.

Hilarity ensued when a full squad of bodies went 200ft in the air 5 mins later

You can also easily bait people by faking a uMeet me at the cache in C5 kp4 in the all chat lol

Cant remember how many times that one worked while the people who knew me on the other team where like Noooooo dont go there its a baaaaait!!!! lol. Youre sure to get a few squadies running at the location with that one.

So many memories, lol, Once I set up 5 pipebomb IEDs on a dirt wall, had a full squad of *tacticool* approaching the cache on the other side. They never knew what hit them

Once insurgent used bait in global. Was so good admin kicked him for revealing cache
