I'd just started playing vBF2 multiplayer having only ever played SP due to a lousy internet connection. Game had been out maybe a year or so but anyway my mate told me his brother had been playing this mod called PR.

Rest is history.

Group of people i used to game with played this, downloaded in 0.6 i believe all i can remember for sure it was the version right before the US army was introduced. Then the US army version was introduced (believe 0.7 :S not sure) couldn't get that downloaded properly so uninstalled. Some time after for some apparent reason i signed up on these here forums and downloaded PR 0.85 (again i believe it was that) and been playing since.

Played vBF2 for a while after it came out until it got boring. One day i logged on and there was the advertisement for it.I almost didn't download it because of its size but then i thought "eh what the hell maybe this will actually be a good mod". Since .86 or .87 whichever one the advertisement was in

i actually came across PR via youtube. there was a video of a guy using an M14 DMR, so i was like "i better get on this, it looks shit hot". needless to say, the past 2 and a half years have been pretty decent for gaming haha

MODDB mod of the year awards. I thought it's worth to check it out after I saw it there.

I had this thing called Modjive (something made by the sir. Community) and i was into mods for BF2. First mod was sandbox, then i looked at which mod had the most people playing, sure enough it was Project Reality, downloaded it and was not disapointed

Word of mouth. A friend and I were talking about evenings spent playing BF:V and I was bitching about bunny hopping in BF2, a short time later he gets back to me about a "reality" mod and I was all in.

I never could actually bunnyhop in BF2, never seen it either. I do it all the time in CS:S, though.

I played once a really long time ago with a clan, probably around .4 and didn't really like it.

The moment I saw the ad in the Vanilla pop up I was like "Damn, this is still around? They must be doing well...". I downloaded and hopped in and the rest is history...

Saw it on Mod DB one day.

The little ad that popped up every time I played vbf2 for like a month caused me to check it out.

I saw my brother playing it... and then i played it... and then my addiction began

Like most people , got stick to death of the vanilla spam. Searched for Mods with two clan mates , POE was fun for while , but it was like vanilla with some topping.

Tired PR , never went back

I think I found it on Youtube, while searching for AIX videos.

I was playing Battlefield 1942: Desert Combat back in 2003/2004, when I heard Battlefield 2 was under development. I wondered if Desert Combat would be converted over to the Refractor 2 engine, and started researching it. Somehow and at some point back in 2004, I stumbled across Project Reality. I've been visiting the website almost every single day ever since

I found out through Moddb.

Chuc sent a sonic boom through the Earth to me which forced me to play and love PR.

Read about it in PC Gamer UK. I would hazard a guess at that being .5/6ish? I remember it sounding like everything I wanted and more after growing frustrated with vBF2.
