If so SWEET! Thanks for bringing the British Weapons up to date
looks sexy guys well done
The sights reflect their real counterparts, but nothing stops you from using the 203 on ranges past 250m, you just have to account for the +.ZephyrDark wrote:Is it me or do some UGLs have longer range settings on them. Like the GP-25 has max of 400m when the M203 has 250m max. Is it because of the scopes and the way they're aimed? Or is it Asymmetrical warfare stuffs again.

Yeah that's why they use cheap old equipment like the Havoc and T-90.Bellator wrote:I for one wouldn't like for the MEC to get any lEETxor optics. I always thought of them as a sort of a "budget" army.

Current T-72 is a placeholder for pimped out M1M version of it, which is pretty much on par with T-90.Excavus wrote:They use a Havoc, but I don't think they use a T-90.

No. The US armed forces have tons of money -- almost as much as the rest of the world combined. MEC wouldn't have the same sort of budget, not even close. They'd mostly use whatever is economic and whatever the MEC countries have already: hence their use of old 7.62 NATO weapons and more affordable Russian vehicles. The opposite - ME army with tonns of money
I think that the high tech optics should be reserved for MEC squad leaders.

HOLY COW
I can't believe how thoroughly you lads have covered the British weapons it is so brilliant! I now see why you guys went straight from 0.92 to 0.95!
Now time to hang my head in shame for being schooled on the l85 series by you Bosco!

Re: Adjustable 3D UGL Sights
Please, explain how this is easier?
0.91 - take UGL- aim- align distance mark with target - fire
0.95 - take UGL- aim- choose distance- align sight with target - fire
In addition time to make 1st shot is longer now, since there is deploy/undeploy animation, and firing at different distance will take longer too, since you will have to change distance zeroing instead of simply moving your mouse a bit to align HUD texture.
yeah, so much simplier and noob-toob'ish it became, think before posting
You might bring whatever sources you want, they would be wrong, since MEC is completely fictional

Re: Adjustable 3D UGL Sights
I got a question though.
Can I still blindfire the grenadier grenade?
I use the gren kit in <100M battle, and once I get used to it there is no need to right click to aim, I just line it up and let it rip....
Is this still possible?
