If the squads seem a bit bad today, it's probably because people want to try out all the new stuff. I had a good round just now, so the good players are indeed out there. If you're unlucky with the server, try another one for some time, even if ping isn't that good. Can't go wrong with Tactical Gamer for example. Tell the SL that you're new and he'll be patient with you :)

Communication always helps. If you feel that the squad isn't working together, tell them that you'd like orders. Most squad leaders wake up then ;) Or change the squad if that fails - go for the ones called "INF VOIP", "TEAMWORK" etc

BigD servers keep crashing, but I found a good squad for 20 minutes until the server crashed again. I have to say, it was really fun. We were slowly moving up the city and trying to find the caches, I think I might of got my first kill there.

I'm going to bed, but I am sure i'm gonna play lots tomorrow.

Good to hear you had fun =)

And yea, several servers report crashes and CTD's, hopefully that'll be fixed soon. When stuff like that happens, it's usually not long till a hotfix is out :)

Okay, Im still having problems with something. When im in game no matter what my ping is, the server is, or how many players are on, every so often a connection is interrupted screen comes up and it lags out for a second or two. It is really getting on my nerves. Any help will be much appreciated.

What are your settings at? Though again, if ArmA II runs fine, so should PR...

Thats what I thought. It works fine in offline mode. Something to do with my internet, any ideas?

I used to have these messages with my old computer, so it doesn't have to be the internet. An upgrade fixed them. Though of course it might be the internet - but then again, you'd experience the same in ArmA, I'd think.

Well, I'm not too good with these things, but there's lots of people here who can probably help you.

Your gonna have a really good time with PR. I started playing this summer and 95% of the time I had tons of fun. The other 5% I was either high or drunk.. it was still fun.

Come to think of it, when I play killing floor I get the same problem. I hate my Internet!

Sure is not ram related?

It doesn't happen in single player so it mustn't be that. I have 4 gigs of ram.

Doesn't happen in singleplayer if it's RAM. It was the RAM for my old computer, and I had the same messages - only online.

Now have a new computer and the messages completely disappeared. Same connection.

Though - I currently have 4 GB of RAM, that should indeed be enough.

Well, it isn't ram since I have 4 gigs of it. The connection problems only happen online. I cant enjoy playing PR when every so often it cuts out and suddenly im standing in the open looking at the sky with a tank beside me.

theres your problem , wireless is terrible for gaming i used to have a setup like that but it was so annoying that i drilled some holes and sorted out some wiring to my pc so i can play undisturbed.

Sorry to necro a dead thread but I'm just posting to say I've fixed my problem by buying a new wireless adaptor. I hope to see you in game :D

Yeah, if the server stops being full. :P

Why is the other server always empty?
