Here are the results:

If I start coop server or join any server and after a few seconds press "disconnect", I get CTD.

If I play for a minute or more and only then press "disconnect", I disconnect correctly.

just create a new word-pad file in the pr folder and name it e.d. "pr.bat" (be sure that you have the .bat ending )
then copy this into this

start pr.exe
start tr.exe

save it
run the "pr.bat"

Hm maybe someone is able to upload the original TR???
Maybe it just went corrupt while transfer trough the torrent.

Since the tr given in this topic makes my *** get kicked by punkbuster.

Didn't know PB checked tr.exe, I guess you'll have to wait for the patch release then.

Nope, there's no connection between tr.exe and CTDs whatsoever. Those issues are unrelated.

Well unfortunely it does,but its seen as an md5tool mismatch tr.exe len=2048 .

And maybe another thing might be,whenever i try to start tr.exe (even when pr is running) it keeps saying 'ERROR:unable to find bf2 process.

Even the editted tr.exe u made says the same,but weirdly enough this one does function.
The original you uploaded unfortunely doesn't function at all for me.

Well guess i'll have to keep playing without chevrons untill the new patch(AUTCH )

(p.s this kick only happend to 2 servers so far(uk warfare,and ABC.
On the Merk server and NWA i am able to play without being kicked...so maybe its serverrelated?)

If this exe doesn't work either, it should at least give you an error message.

Update: Oops, didn't notice, that there are already posts with the same problem.

I'm also having the same problem as the OP, sometimes the chevron's there, and sometimes it isn't.

You're supposed to start PR with pr.exe, not tr.exe. And you can't start tr.exe manually.

Like I said, revert to the original exe and wait for the patch to come out.

Had the Chevron consistently gone for me when I was SL. I saw post saying it disappears when within 125 meters. I am pretty sure it was gone for distances greater than that, but will look more closely. I had no problems with the chevron when playing as a grunt.

Same for me Was kicked exactly on these 2 servers.
Then tried some Finnish server (don't remember its name... starts on P) - it was OK. no kick.

Locked, since issue is solved and will be coming in a patch
