Well, read Keji's post before reading mine.drs79 wrote:I suggest a language filter, lots of taunting and cursing in global towards other players, at some times during the rounds it seemed that it was acceptable to call people the real mean way of saying someone was gay, or other words which I won't post here. - The player Dimitri.Taliban (I think that's how he spells his name) was doing this a ton.
I can tell you right now that a language filter is never going to happen as long as I have a say. This is an American server, in the strictest sense of the concept of American. This means you have the right to taunt and drop all the little F-Bombs you desire...up to a point.
Which means that if the chat devolves into disruptive, needless, and abysmally abusive, then we will cut it off with a nice warning or a swift kick, in the ***.
If you have a problem, let the admins know. You have a duty to tell us when you think you are being abused, so do so. Many of my admins wont agree with me, but I encourage admins to stick up for the little guy or the people who just want a good, solid PR experience.
However, this is a two way street, if you are being abused, take this as an opportunity to grow some thicker skin, and you might find your solution on your own. Still, if you cant find the inner strength to stand up to asshats (usually done by ignoring them) then let us know and we will rectify the situation. Its supposed to be fun.
