I want to do it like: "oh shit, I'm taking heavy fire, I have to survive at all cost or Im outta this game" instead of "oh shit, I'm taking heavy fire, I'll try to shoot down as much of them as I can and then spawn in main".

This is the way it's done. Perhaps Sniperdog can provide the piece of code for this :)

The "ban" would only last for the duration of the round. Kicking and preventing the person from rejoining would simulate "death" in the battlefield. If someone dies, they get booted, and someone new comes, representing a replacement. If you spawn back in main rather than getting booted, no replacements can come

How about no replacements AT ALL? This'd make it extremely realistic, and that assets do not respawn and such.

I love the physiological effect this will have on players. I'm thinking of a well placed ambush squad, or a hidden marksman happening on an occupied enemy squad :burger: and taking them out one at a time, last man to the first.

What came to me reading this: the player can still say "sniper killed me" and be in the squad because he would just be wounded! his deaths are still at 0 ;)
No one would give up in this game mode, everyone will wait the 2 minutes in the hope to get revived. But in this time they still can talk to the squad and tell them where they heard the shot.
So, any ideas about that problem?

I don't expect people to be kicked on being wounded. You can still communicate when you're down, but not dead.
