No, when you break two office chairs the same way just from sitting on then playing PR, that means its a game worth playing.

It would definitely have to be the amount of cooperation and teamwork from other players to get to an objective, do what needs to be done, and get out.
The realism of it is amazing as well. It's just so great to be in an infantry squad and when you need some heavy support like a tank or helo, you can actually get it, and its not like an NPC or just a mortar strike, it's actually real people, so you can communicate with them about what needs to be done, where a target is, etc. I was trying to get my Sgt to let us get together for a lan and play it as virtual training >_>

The realism. The work over the years to make this game realistic is amazing. Closest to war as you can get. I am really impressed to see how motivated the Devs are. 2 years ago I started playing PR again and was amazed it was still active and running, an the updates and motivation really suprise me. Although PR really needs a game of it's own, or a new engine. I think a realistic war game really needs a engine that is suited and coded correct for the game.
Well, I enjoy the fact that there isn't as many little kids that rage just because.
And I enjoy that it's focused around teamwork, and not ranking up and stuff (vBF2, COD, etc)

Sorry for another necro, but this is a well made topic, and I love PR because no retards running around like a headless chicken killing everything that moves. Oh yes, players are hardcoded, but the majority of people don't And it's better than ANY game that comes out, or will be coming out. I bet that this mod will be still running even when im old and gray, and were playing PR in a simulator at 1000 fps And I'm only 18!!! If this community lives. PR lives.

I play PR because of the realism and teamwork. When you're in a squad and everyone is juct clicking, plus a commander with his head screwed on right, the game is so much fun.
That and the silence. I know it might sound strange, but I really like how quiet Project Reallity is compared to Battlefield 2. BF2 always had so much call spam that you could barely hear yourself think, let along listen for audio of enemy troops and vehicles. When I found that PR shut all that **** off I was hooked.

PR vs ARMA II:
ARMA II has better graphics and some cool movements like hopping over short walls and fences... and that is about it.
PR:BF2 is simple, easy to learn, not many glitches, easy for a computer to handle, and has many classic fps controls. ARMA II on the other hand takes days to learn how to interact, the multiplayer community sucks etc.
I credit the PR community the most for the success of the mod.

it reminds me of almost every time I have sex.
Its Big with steeping climbs, gritty, smells of old beer and socks, riddled with bugs, relatively easy, I procrastinate when i team switch, and between rounds I keep myself occupied.
I always think i see Smeggles out the corner of my eye, The bikes wobble from side to side,i love Gary but Gary doesn't love me(notgay!) THERE ARE TROLLS EVERYWHERE!, I disconnect randomly and think of seeking professional help, sometimes id just rather play Call of Duty than strain myself putting the effort in, it feels like i'm invisible when i talk, I'm only successful when i bring the big toys, I feel left out when the servers full, Sometimes my RPG fires blanks, My positions regularly hurt my back, my mouse is always cold when i touch it for the first time of the day, however my joystick brings me comfort, i try my best but in the end its rarely good enough, i get raped by cobras, suicide is frequently the logical choice, i post my results up on the net and high five myself, but at the end of the day i cant complain because its full of content. or maybe thats just my shitty life.
I love PR but sometimes, its such a whore.
