I bet disabling punkbuster (server side) would make it stop... I don't know if that is in violation of the server license though.

Dear mods:

I respectfully suggest a lock. I took the liberty of creating this

https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... ost1534590

thread to get players and server admins to write a ticket!

I would have to agree. Makes no sense. Please do not lock!

Yes it would be a server license violation unless the [DEV]s give us the ok to do so.

Think they would do that? Seems like it would make sense as a temporary fix to get us playing until pb gets this fixed.

I am going to admit: I have some time off work and was really looking forward to playing sum PR. But this is really aggravating and discouraging.

Please [DEV]s, just for a lil bit, disable punkbuster so we can get to playing while, especially while I have the time too. Thanks in advance!

The error also shows up on vBF2, so it's not PR causing the problem.

pb_sleep 500 maybe is a current fix, as far as I understand wouldnt this change the polling of Punkbuster to much longer, meaning that the percentage of POSSIBLE failure be decreased?

Idk, It seemed to work for me but its possible it was just a lucky break.

Got an update just now from evenbalance and they told me to try playing again. Maybe they fixed it. On the road ATM. Also noticed ticket status was closed.
