Never cry out for a medic with the audio cue in-game more than necessary since it is a homing beacon for snipers or other enemy's who just want some easy extra kills. When you get revived make sure that your not checking out the small details on the medics uniform. Instead look for enemy's coming to kill you and your medic.
Sometimes when your going back to repair your vehicle at the supply depot the wrench (repair icon) will not show. Change seat or jump in and out of the vehicle to make it appear. Also the healing cross isn't always showing when your healing yourself, but just make sure that your standing up looking down..or laying down looking up while using your med pack.
The Canadian APC on Operation Archer etc. is an extremely "flippable" vehicle. Even when you think your driving very slowly and safely it can flip. In my experience its better to keep a good forward momentum so that when you are about to flip it you do a counter maneuver. When your going up a steep hill don't accelerate or you will flip backwards. (it has a really high gravity point and a heavy ***)
Press and hold X (countermeasure) while driving a Humvee and the sound from the credits of one of the Episodes of Generation Kill will play. I think its roughly 2 min long or more.
Vehicles like the Warrior (IFV) and Challenger (tank) can cross some of the shallow water crossing on the Al-Basra map where as the Jeeps and Trucks will recive damage. The Warrior and the Challenger takes damage when the water level is more than half of the vehicle height where as jeeps and trucks take damage when half of the wheels are submerged (roughly)
Press C while driving a truck to see a rear view...press C again to return to normal view. This can be useful when getting ready to use a deploy-able Bridge (scroll the mouse-wheel and stop on the bridge icon when in the driver seat) Right click to deploy when right next to a gap in a bridge or next to a sand dune that indicate it is a place for building bridges. When you have to cross this bridge then the its also easier to reverse using rear view then you have eyes on your wheels of the truck.
If your prone you can crawl past grenade traps and trip flares.
On tanks and apc's etc you can always fire your 2ndary weapon together with your primary weapon. ( this might be obvious but often seems like i am one of the few actually doing this) For example if your shooting at a fast moving vehicle with your primary AP rounds then the Coax 2ndary will help you increase the chance that some of the bullets will actually hit. The AP and Coax is not impacting on the exact same grid. Just remember your primary weapon can overheat... your coax can not.
Your ears are as valuable as your eyes when it comes to detecting bomb cars.... sometimes its better to jump from the driver seat of your apc to the passenger and just listen for incoming cars. Of-course this rely on you having a decent sound card and settings so that all sounds will be transmitted with a good "3d depth" so you can identity which direction it is coming from.
Even if your infantry make good use of your map every time your behind cower to get a quick overview where your ally's are, or more important....where your ally's are not. Then you can shoot on sight as soon as you see enemy's in a direction that you just checked to have no friendly's. You have to do this extremely often to make it work though.
You can crush certain walls using your vehicle as a ram. Using a Humvee with just 50% speed will bring down the wall and give your car no or little damage. With full speed your car will take more damage.
Combat Engineers can still repair light vehicles like a Humvee with the wrench. The wrench can also still remove mines, but they can not repair bridges and heavy armored vehicles etc.
