The Cupola isn't a .50 so it seems okay to me.

The co-axial is a .50 BMG, so its basically a tank with an MG that kills in one shot.

Cupola gun is a GPMG I think?

Yep it's an ANF1 which is an old 7,62 NATO chambered MG, though I read on defensenews that thousands of FN MAG have been ordered recently (don't know if it's for infantry and/or vehicles use).

Anyone else noticed this? I think you can't notice it often enough... I mean: .50 coaxial! Sweet mother mercy... That's gonna kick some buts with the gunners zoom!

looks fantastic guys, the UN version looks pretty intense too haha
can't wait for these french forces to come out!
is that parascope a 1 shot hit/kill like on the other tanks? that looks like a major weak point but its the way the tank is built i guess

I mean on all other tanks, the Cupola is a .50 but on this one it's not, so it seems fair to allow the coax to instead be a .50.

Yep, you are right ANF1s are being phased out and will be replaced with FN MAGs (they are already on some of our choppers, like the Caracal and the Cougar), they will be used by both the infantry and armour.

Some of our troups in Astan are already being fielded with MINIMI 7,62 (Chasseurs Alpins), according to what I read, the ANF1 isn't that a reliable weapon. It's the reason why there was a massive order for FN MAGs a few months ago.

It depends on the way the vehicle is exported. I guess it will be like the others. Though the tank should be faster and more handy to drive. (lighter than most of other MBTs).

Well, the Leclerc won't have ATGM to kill the Merkava too :P (I knew we should have done the AZUR kit for this tank... :p )

Also, added a ref pic to the first post :P

this isnt true anymore since 0.9.

the canadian and german Leopard 2A6 tanks do got a MG3 as cupola weapon.

we also plan to replace the .50cal on the Challenger 2 with a GPMG/FN MAG when the model is available.

Would be interesting to see coaxial HMG.Little unbalanced with other vehicles, but also - VAB should be big big sheeeaaaat in game(Like a M113 - only for transport, not for fighting).
Would be nice to see it ingame.
