BTR and BRDM need textures.I got no time for work with it(Busy in RL to summer i will be very busy). You want to work with it Broseph?

I don't know, I've never made textures from stretch before apart from the MI-8 texture, I could try to copy over the already existing textures over and work off them though

Making texture only on photoshop it hard. :D
You may use Ambient Occution map and RL textrures(Scratches for example) plus filled UV map make texturing much more simple. You may take background color from MTLB texture for example and use some smooth filters. If you work for PR team - It's save some time(I've make background manually - and it's hard :x ).

well hell I'll take the Ambient Occution, since it's mostly that I just don't know how to do shading well :?

But I need to get motivated :|

I would personally stay away from this for now broseph. pick your fights wisely, and start with the simpler stuff.

Well considering I do have U.S. citizenship and grew up in America, I wouldn't say my English is sub-par

I wasnt implying that you're use of english was in any way inferior, rather saying that Motherdear was using a linguistic mechanism that is only clearly understandable to native speakers and advanced English users.

Please don't see insults where no insults exist.

I understood well and full that was a Idiom and what the meaning of it was, that is not the subject at hand, clearly this should have been made clear my knowledge of English is sufficient enough to know what a Idiom is :p

I however am currently inquiring as to why he thinks I shouldn't proceed with my current course I choose ;)

Hey Samogon, what's with the front of your BTR having a right angle at the front instead of the wedge?

Edit - Oh Silly me, I was looking at the BTR-70 and up and not the BTR-60

I was saying that i think you should stick with the t-90, and not bother with any work from samogon, where you will have to start from scratch while your current skill set can still be refined on retexturing, or touching up textures.

Not any time soon, even if you throw away what Rhino mentioned and other issues, its final outlook is not known at all atm and the differences between possible versions are pretty vast.

Why bother when the T-90A is the main model used by the Russian Army anyway?

If anything the PR Team should make the T-80 since the Russian Navy barely has any T-90s :D
