Re: No good IDF maps

Discussing maps is like discussing music; sure you can probably compare complexity of arrangement and technique and what not, but it mostly comes down to what you like. It is subjective; it differs from person to person.

So personally, I really like Beirut (I think its very well made from both a gameplay and an aesthetic perspective), I like Gaza (but I recognise it may not be a good map, or at least has some serious issues) I like Asad if played infrequently (it always plays out the same way(s)), and I dislike Iron Eagle (too few flags in too large a space, often plays out slow and awkwardly).

Maybe the OP has half a point, but at least the IDF has 4 maps, whereas the Germans only have 2 (and altogether arguably a "worse" lot than the IDF maps.) The same could be said of the Canucks, I'd prefer to see both of those factions get some new maps before the IDF.
