Your ban can't 'transfer' to ArmA2 just like that, they'd need your player ID to ban you!
Maybe you should try heading to their forums and try to get unbanned, because you probably won't get much help here.

I have i5 intel, 8gb RAM 64bit windows, a GT330 graphichs card (Dunno if thats good or what :P )

And when I try to run the game on High, the graphichs are all blurry and shit. The only way I can play the game comfortly, is when i set the graphichs on default, and disables the Post-Processing.
It just seems that i cant find a perfect match with the resolution, the 3d resolution and so on.
Dont forget to turn off PP at high as well, i put it on "low" but i disable vSync cause i dont like what it does to my system lol. Also ur 3d resolution should be the same as ur screen resolution. Otherwise ur graphics would look like sh**

Wow. This sounds like an amazing idea. Props to whoever came up with this.

I've owned arma2 for over a year, but I've only played it for a few hours. I tried multiplayer once as well and had no idea what was going on, which turned me off the game.
I'll definately show up for boot camp!

Yeah, the amount of Arma 2 players that dont know how to use a watch, grid, gps is amazing. I hope they all die.

the demo really doesn't do the game justice. OA really IMO optimizes for better running on lower end pcs better then regular arma II.

Would it be possible for the release of the Wiki Guide earlier so we can study up?

I think for everyone who hasn't played A2 :O A yet should play single player to at least get used to basic movement and controls so you guys can stick more to advanced stuff, tactics, and general team work. Also take time to learn to use the GPS and map or map and land mark with compass to knock another thing off.

Well the reason we created this is so that the Project Reality Community do not fall into this category ............ to be let down by basic skills within the PR community would be pretty bad, when you guys will be bringing all the tactics we hope ?

So therefore this is a Boot camp for all the hard core BF2 / TvT players out there, to get the basics nailed now.

Boot camp would help a lot.
Ya been trying to get into ARMA2 for months now. I bought the game months ago and still have not gotten a solid foundation on the game it self. I seemed great on paper what they where explaining to me but the amount of stuff you have to know prior to launching the game is tantamount to the amount of frustration i would get in game. Read the manual, yes, too much information, indeed. And the ARMA2 community isn't as helpful as it would in PR community. That's just my findings tho.

Would love to see more boot camp stuff especially in the North America side.

Not a great introduction to Arma2 but I am sorry about the problems experienced tonight, it appears our server provider had a bit of a wobbly and dumped the racks.... What happened next was out of our control... Website, TS everything went to another space in time for a while...

As a result the session was cancelled and rescheduled for this coming Wednesday - same time, same place....

Thanks to all who showed and we are sorry to of waisted you time but these things can happen.....

See you all this Wednesday...

PS - can I stress this is a VANILLA mission for Arma 2 Combined Ops - too many players joined with ACE mods and may of caused some issues with the initial launch... thank you...

After getting back tonight and hearing about the issues I have been informed from our GSP that the issue was a DDoS attack which unfortunately is beyond our control :(
