And the fact that anders has been R-CON'd, I suspect that the sound mod is being incorporated into the next public build of PR. While that means you won't be able to get your hands on the newest version until everyone else, it also means you won't have to confine yourself to a small subset of servers to play with it.
I have also seen small hints from various devs that the next version isn't tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo far off. Take that with a big grain of salt, but I got the 'vibe', so to speak.

Sorry for doublepost, but i'd very like to hear more "thump" when under/behind the chopper. Especially te huey with only two blades needs that machinegun sound. Vanila Arma OA has good sounds for chinook when under it for example. But you can do better Anders!

This mod is very impressive. I've used it for some time now.
However, after a Bf2 reinstall I have some issues.
I first placed the installer in my "Bf2-stuff" directory, and not the BF2 directory. I installed it and used it without issue. The installer asked for my BF2 directory and all. Now though, it keeps asking for the directory every time I launch the installer.
I get the "couldn't find the bf2 directory" box, and I also get a .Net framework error "an unhandled exception has occurred in your application", Could not find path D:\mods\pr\serverarchives.con. The path for my BF2 folder is D:\Program\Spel\Battlefield2
If I press "continue" at the .Net framework error, I can install/uninstall and enable/disable the mod without trouble. But I still get these messages every time I launch it, not a big problem, but very annoying.
I run as administrator on a win7 64 bit system.
Any thoughts?

Heh, ask the devs mate. Apparently it was their intention, but I think there's been a mistake. They thought I was inactive, but I'm sure as hell not.

Does anyone know if its possible to have more than 1 shootsound per weapon? Like the way explosions/bullethits/footsteps are play?
Trying to experiment with the No1 Enfield rifle to have 3 shootsounds in both 1p and 3p.

Yes it is possible.Look in common_Client/material/ impact and look at the hand grenade file.
