We do our best with preventing teamstacking (IMO) - only problem is that when a clan joins mid-game there's a chance that they will sit on the same team.matty1053 wrote:Can you guys please put different maps in for INS?
I hate playing Kokan for INS every couple rounds. At least put like Burning Sands INS, or something else.
And can you guys please prevent teamstacking? IT sucks having to face a team of Clans and your team is consisted of players who dont have mics and ect.
FCV is pretty much the only server that I've seen actively work to unstack teams, both from the clans online and from the admins, so as Bren says, mid-round not much can be done, but if it's unbalanced there will sometimes/often(?) be something done.matty1053 wrote:And can you guys please prevent teamstacking? For the past three days me and the PR directors have been working on an advanced admin guide to managing stacked teams. It's a problem to us as a server and we want to deal with it the most appropriately. It will be incorporated into the trial-admins' training as well once it is complete.[R-CON]Psyrus wrote:FCV is pretty much the only server that I've seen actively work to unstack teams, both from the clans online and from the admins, so as Bren says, mid-round not much can be done, but if it's unbalanced there will sometimes/often(?) be something done.
Some admins don't care though, but the higher-ups definitely look into it.
Yeah, thats a good idea, might make things a bit easier.brenn4n wrote:Rabbit, I'm about to beef up the crash logs, haven't had a chance to update the spreadsheet in a while.
Would you be fine with just having me give you the permission on the Crash report forum? AFAIK you're already registered.
It wasn't the past few hours, it was days.brenn4n wrote:We do our best with preventing teamstacking (IMO) - only problem is that when a clan joins mid-game there's a chance that they will sit on the same team.
I would like you to be specific because I don't recall any teamstacking within the past 6 hours..
And insurgency (like I said) is only used for seeding. I don't recall a lot of it tonight, and people that are on TS get first dibs on the maps!
Rabbit it should work now, tell me if it doesn't.[R-DEV]Rabbit wrote:Yeah, thats a good idea, might make things a bit easier.

Oh I'll believe that, I see so many Chinese players these days on FCV. However issues do arise with the language barriers and what not.Jolly wrote:I even have a better PING in FCV than Chinese one!
Yeah really.ShaunOTEast wrote:Oh I'll believe that, I see so many Chinese players these days on FCV. However issues do arise with the language barriers and what not.
Matty, don't take this personal, but here's what our rules list:matty1053 wrote:Yeah really.
When I was on LA server.... there were like 5 Korean-Japenese squads that didn't speak one word of english!!
I was the CO of course, then I decided to rage quit since they didn't understand me!
Please enforce the English Language more. (At least for squad leaders).
TBH, I could really care less if there is a ton of different language players on FCV, but you guys should make it a rule that Squad Leaders MUST know how to speak English.
Code: Select all
5. Communication
All personnel in the server must be active using mumble for both receiving signal and sending signal.
English is the primary language on the server. If there are non-English squads it is reccomended they stay in the same squad and assign a billingual squad leader as the primary communications officer in order to preserve teamwork.
Disruptively spamming through mumble VoIP during pre-game briefing and the "end-screen" is considered a felony, resulting in an immediate tempban.
If a player is not being active enough on mumble the result can vary into a resignation/force to be relieved of current duty in preservation of teamwork.
Spamming music is not against the rules, but if a players gameplay is disrupted due to the spam then the spammer will be asked to put the music to a halt to preserve teamwork values.Hey Jevski,Jevski wrote:Tried to play on your server, since you have changed the rules to a more serious way of teamwork.

Five admins online, about 7 reports. No repsonse.
Player Xj makes a sqd. and it fills up. As the game starts he leaves and makes another sqd.
I try to talk to him and I get txt "no engrish"
So now we have 9 sqds, one of them has no mic, and does not speak English.
After several reports, I write !r what does it take to get an admin, and I get the reply "apply on the forum"??
Communication is keystone in PR, and I find it clearly missing during my try on FCV
I skimmed through the rules of communication. Since it seems like it's all of the same on every server. "Spamming is not allowed", "must have mic", "speak english" ect. But now it is more clear to me. Sorry about that though, just saw "English is the primary language on the server." part. Then I figured the rest was normal, no spam, ect.brenn4n wrote:English is the primary language on the server.
